Those dang side rails. The video tutorial on YouTube is incorrect. I was only able to remove the side rails (to get to the screws) by working up from the bottom of them, NOT the top like the video showed.Otherwise, easy install and I love the look. It looks a bit silver gray in the light but it's more a pale metallic blue in reality, really pops off the black.And the finish is matte rather than soft touch but not the same matte as the standard controller face.

Never disappointed

Not sure how $15 is expensive for a custom soft textured faceplate, especially with free shipping. Maybe the dollar store has them and I’m out of touch, I don’t know. For me it’s a really nice affordable option to update the kind of plain looking Xbox controller. Installation is easy, taking the old faceplate off is a bit tricky. Comes with everything needed to install, and it looks flawless on my controller. It’s definitely not something that anyone needs to have but if you’re bored with your controller this is a great upgrade.

Love this cover! It feels AMAZING and is very aesthetically pleasing. Highly reccomend! A little tricky to put on but thats no fault of the cover.

It’s made with quality plastic with a soft rubbery like texture which is feels nice in your hands. I should’ve read more closely though because I didn’t realize you have to take your controller apart to put this on.

$15 for just a face-plate is kinda eh, but it does look good.

The faceplate color is as described. It’s very pretty! It also fits perfectly and is soft. The only complaint that I have is the side rails were very difficult to get off. The plastic tool kept slipping out and scratching the back of my controller. I did watch videos before purchasing and it definitely seemed easier than when I attempted it. Once i got them off; however, the rest was easy.

So a lot of people are saying that this does not fit correctly or they are having issues with the d-pad.I put mine on last night, and it was a breeze to install, although I have modified multiple controllers and consoles so my knowledge is above average when it comes to disassembly of gaming devices.The only thing I see that is a little "off" is the lip that is on the bottom of the plate (by the headphone jack) does not fit 100% flush- there is maybe a 0.5-1mm gap (at the most). It appears as though that is just how the plastic was molded, but does not affect anything.It isn't even noticeable to others ( I asked my wife to find a flaw and she could not haha) just me, but I am super picky haha.So 5 stars because I need to learn to not be so critical.

I’ve used extremerate stuff loads in the past and they’ve always been near 100% perfect, but I always bought either white or black.My last install prior to this was the hope remap kit for my series S controller which again I got that in a soft touch white and was pretty much a perfect fit as expected.I’m not sure what I was expecting this to be, but I fancied a nice bright finish for a change so I chose the neon green.As it turns out it’s a white shell painted with the green finish, not green plastic and here is where the problem lay.The colour itself is amazing. The finish is really good, no complaints there. However, the Xbox button and the capture/share buttons were sticking when I installed this front.I ended off having to sand the edges of the holes down for all the buttons and dpad to get them to fit correctly. It’s not really and issue as you can’t see where I’ve done it, but it’s an extra step to consider if it happens to anyone else.It wouldn’t stop me buying another one though. These soft touch shells really feel better than the stock.

Shell was good quality at first but after use the shell stains and can’t be cleaned off. Even making sure my hands are clean before using it has still stained. I’ve tried to get a photo of it but it’s hard to see on camera (I’ve had to edit the photo to show it up more) but is easier to see in person

It's by no means cheap but thats a good thing in this case.The quality of the shell is as good as it would be from Xbox, I actually like the feel more than the "official" shell. I was blown away how good the colour is on it and how thoughtful the creators are by including everything you need to remove the old shell properly.It's a worthwhile purchase because it's extremely easy to install and can make your controller look a ton nicer. For me it was needed as my old shell broke. If the same happens to you i'd suggest getting one of these.

Fits perfectly, other reviews mention the need to sand down d-pad hole i didnt need to fits as expected. Thumsticks are also from this company. 100% would recommend and buy from again.
