Great alternative to the dry cleaner. I bought a vintage blazer and after two uses, it did not remove heavy set in cigarettes smell. I gave it five stars anyway because it did a nice job cleaning it, the smell was a real problem so much in fact, I had to throw the garment away.

didn't know i needed this till it was recommended, and honestly one of the better purchases i've made spontaneously. it made a pretty noticeable difference, quality is good from what i can tell. i think its a good buy for the money and can improve your laundry

I used this on my wool items and I am just amazed. They came out nearly wrinkle free and still smell so good! The package comes with a bag you can put your clothes in to protect them while they are in the dryer. You get four cleaning clothes but not only that you get a stain pen you can take anywhere and a spray for particular spots that need attention such as for smells or odors. I will definitely be ordering this again! A lot more convenient and less expensive than taking your clothes to the dry cleaners!

I have not been the cleaners in 20-plus years because of these fabulous cleaner kits. The scent is so much better than the cleaners chemicals and I never have to remember to stop at the cleaners, not to mention all the money I save. The other bonus is that I have never had anything shrink with dryel like I have had at the "professional" cleaners. The kit has a pretreating wand for stains. If you happen to miss any stains, you can simply pretreat it and try again, since unlike regular drying, the stains don't set it.

As a person who suffers from fragrance issues, I was delighted to find a product that was scent free. The info on Amazon advertises dryel at-home dry-cleaner as unscented, but the very first ingredient on it's label is Hexyl Cinnamal a naturally occurring and synthetic scent ingredient​. Hexyl Cinnamal is known to be associated with allergic reactions and as such, has a high concern rating for allergies and immunotoxicity​. For individuals with allergies, even small doses of this ingredient can trigger skin reactions such as redness, hives, itching, or eczema within 24 to 72 hours. Even for susceptible skin, a dose below the limit of 0.01 percent can cause a reaction. Once a contact allergy is established, it is not curable, and the allergenic substance should be avoided in the future​​. The ingredient is also advised to be avoided by asthmatics and people with hyperreactive (hypersensitive) airway issues​​. There are also concerns about Hexyl Cinnamal potentially causing cancer although that risk isn't definitively established. You can imagine my disappointment. I am not willing to take the risk and am returning the package unopened.

I have been using the Woolite Dry Care Unscented but it along with the terrible Fresh Scent was discontinued so trying Dryel. (I know people say same company as one bought the other but the product is not the same.) Right off the bat, it shrank an item. I tumbled a brocade top that had a satin lining and the outside brocade shrank so the lining now drops below the seam of the top all the way around. I also took a star off for the fact that it is heavily fragranced, smells of baby powder and perfume and not unscented like the listings at all. This is a big deal for someone who has care items with allergy-sufferers in the house. The items did not come out as "clean" as Woolite dry care which never quite did the dry clean job but seemed to do a decent steam. I can feel the product on my garments and they aren't quite as refreshed. Will keep using but only on select things.

Beware of this seller, as the information presented is tainted with information that may lead a person astray. It presents pictures of a dry cleaner bag, which is found only in the starter kit and not the refill kit. Also, it is costly compared to others.

arrived wrecked. The cap was detached. I should probably return this. I won’t be using this until around a month from now. I’ll update the review then.
