So far, so good!
It’s hard to review a product that’s built for longevity. But as of right now, this PSU is awesome. I was absolutely on the fence when purchasing it because I hadn’t heard of the brand, but installing it and using it, it’s great! It was packaged great and it came with every necessary cable. These cables are NOT threaded, which is a bummer. But them being all black helped blend in with my build. The installation was flawless and it fit extremely snug at the bottom of my case. When I turned it on I had no immediate issues and was gaming in minutes. The RGB aspect of the power supply was my least cared for addition. I used the default yellow option because it was bright enough to see inside and that’s it. Neat feature to have though, I suppose! All in all, I am extremely happy with my purchase and will update this review if/when something happens in the future.

Good looking and quiet.
I went looking for a solid reliable power supply for my new build. I didn't care about the lighting as I never needed it before. I wanted reliable power at a good price. This power supply gave me everything I wanted and more. The first time I turned on the computer I wasn't sure it worked as it is dead silent. The lights are a dead giveaway that I did start it. Even after several months I still find myself checking the lights as it is still silent. Great power supply, rock-solid, highly configurable, and good looking with many lighting options.

PSU destroyed my computer
The media could not be loaded. Do not purchase this PSU, and do not purchase any PSU from this company. My older PSU was over 5 years old and would no longer reliably power my computer anymore (randomly restarting when too much wattage was being pulled) so I decided to purchase a new one. Since it had been so long since I bought a PSU I had forgotten how important it was to be extremely thorough with it and quickly bought this one to fix the issue. After installing it and powering on my computer everything immediately got fried and there was popping and smoke from my computer. When I opened my computer again I saw that all the power connections had smoke coming from them and immediately knew that nothing would work. I get in touch with the company through email since that is the one and only way to contact them and they ask for proof. At first I sent them one video showing as best I can that all the components are nonfunctional (there is no visible damage that I can take pictures of), they did not reply so I recorded a second video (which is attached to this review) and reclarified what had happened. After the second email they responded "We could not find evidence of smoking, and in the video your motherboard's fan works fine. We offer 5 year warranties and would like to refund you. We could not hear any sparks or popping, please send us the power supply so we can investigate." (paraphrasing to correct English issues) I was furious at the incompetence the email showed. First of all they don't even recognize what their own products look like and cannot see that I never connected their power supply to my motherboard as I already knew it would destroy it the same way it did everything else. Secondly they are directly admitting that the power supply is non-functional since they are willing to refund me in an attempt to make this issue just go away, and most important of all, they want me to destroy more equipment and record that happening. After calming down I requested they give me their address so I can send them the power supply and they can see the issue for themselves, that was over a week ago and they have yet to respond to that email. Bottom line, never purchase a power supply from this company or anything that could possibly damage anything connected to it.

VERY compelling value for under 100$
I got this PSU with a note of skepticism considering that I have never heard of the brand and that it didn't have many reviews. However, that being said, it truly did exceed expectations. Most of my skepticism derived from having just gotten a Powercolor RX 6800 XT. This card requires 850W on 12V rails, which exceeded the limit of my previous powersupply (that being an EVGA 750W GQ) by enough of a margin that I simply couldn't use the card. This power supply works with 6000 series AMD cards AND 30 series Nvidia cards. If you have any of these cards and are looking for a solid PSU to work with them, this one works wonders.

Decent Power Supply for Cost
Decent Power supply for the cost. The RGB is a nice gimmick but is barely visible when mounted fan side down in a case. Also, the fan pops out a bit from the square of the power supply so it was hard to get it into the case. The only packaging that was delivered to me was the power supply box with a shipping label taped to the plastic wrap. A bit worrying if porch pirates are common in your area. I'm not sure if it was Amazon's fault or if it was the seller's fault but, it could have been better. However!!!! The day I installed this power supply after a few hours of my computer running the power supply made a banging noise and the fan kicked up to max speed. I checked and the power supply was very hot. I turned off my computer and let it cool down and haven't had any problems since.

Great product for price and what I needed
Getting it was quick and it was very easy to install. Most of which I have done numerous times. The lights definitely are okay for what it is considering. The price compared to others seemed alright, but didnt get much time to look into it. The noise is definitely quiet, however you can still hear it just a little bit if you hear a lot. Great product thus far in the few mins I have used it.

Modularity is great, RBG is a plus.
Does what I need! Upgrading my old 650W to this one for a new Graphics Card when I get my hands on one, and I'm going to need the extra power. I wish the RGB lights could be integrated with AURA Sync or ICUE, but it has enough pre-set sequences and colors that I'm sure one could find something that fits their rig.

Allows me to use all of the 14 drive bays in my full tower case.
I invested in two full tower cases a few years ago. I realized that I had to always be sure that the power supplies I bought and used had the ability to 14 power connectors of at least 9 SATA and 3 Molex connectors. The main reason I bought the UtechSmart 850W Fully Modular 80 Plus Gold Certified PSU 850 PC Power Supply.
