Plug and play at its finest
It's plug and play so it's ultra easy, just download some free 'burner' software and you're ready to go

Good size
I wanted a lightscribe writer as I've been without one for a while. This is ideal for me to create compilations for my car and label them up with my own disç label designs. I find lightscribe much better than stick on labels for my needs. Highly recommend this drive

SPEC IS NOT TRUE
spec claims it can write 8x in a dvd-r this is untrue as on a dvd-r the max speed it offered was 2x I didn't even bother to do the burn as this is way to slow for me. This was connected to USB 3Returned for refund

Design may be a plus or a minus
The drive works well and is good value. However I didn’t give it five stars because of the connecting cable. The fact that it fits under the drive is quite neat but it is so short that for me it makes it harder to use when connecting to my PC. A longer lead would give users more flexibility but obviously some people will be perfectly happy with it.

Works straight out of the box
Really easy to use (plug and play).

Lead is too short
The connecting lead is way too short. unless you have the burner right next to the computer you won't have any luck with it
