This is a smart looking tumble dryer (if you can have such a thing) - easy to install, setup and use. There are plenty of user programmes and also the option of controlling via a wifi based app. The cycles do take longer but I understand use much less energy. Clothes come out really dry without getting significantly hot - which happened with the old dryer. The load size seems really good as well. The water container fits in the door and is easy to remove and empty. Overall really pleased with our purchase.

This Tumble Dryer was, without a doubt, the worse Hoover machine that I have ever owned. My last Hoover Tumble Dryer did not owe me a penny. I had owned it for over sixteen years, and I only had to call an engineer to look at it, just once.Just before Christmas, the house lights tripped several times. After eliminating major appliances, I was still at a loss that every time I reset the switch in the fuse-box, as soon as I walked back into the Kitchen, the Electricity would go off again. I called out an Electrician who quickly diagnosed that my tumble dryer was to blame; it was permanently plugged in but was about to expire.That same night I ordered a new machine here on Amazon. Two days later, it arrived. I looked forward to using this all-singing dancing machine the following day.I was so disappointed. Firstly, the noise, my neighbour thought that a volcano had erupted. Secondly, I discovered that this 11 Kg machine did not allow this weight on all programs. Finally, my old machine would dry my bed linen in 30 minutes. This new machine on the Cotton program took 3 hours, and the clothes were still damp. I persevered, thinking it needed to bed in, but no. The bed linen took nearly seven hours to dry. The following day I did a big mixed wash. My washing machine holds 10 Kg; this is where I found that my tumble dryer would not hold 10 Kg on specific programs, only eight. The noise once again was horrendous. Worse was yet to come. It took twelve hours to dry the big and then smallish loads. I tried the bed linen twice more with similar results. Thank goodness that Amazon allows you to return your purchases within thirty days. I sent it back, and my money was refunded. I certainly would NOT recommend this machine.

I've been putting off getting a tumble dryer for years, as our old one was rubbish. This one is fantastic! I wish I'd bought it ages ago now. Easy to empty the water from the tank (lifts off the door) and quite quiet when in use too.

The tumble dryer is a great energy efficient dryer but the caveat is that it takes hours and hours to dry anything. Unfortunately there is no quick type of setting that can get clothes dry quickly. It can also be quite noisy at times. Overall a great machine but just a couple of small issues.

I feel misled. The machine only takes 11kg on certain cycles, for towels and linen. For normal washing it can only take a maximum of 6kg. Even the “XXl” cycle for large items like curtains only takes 6kg. So all in all it takes less washing than my old 9kg dryer. Also, my old dryer would keep the clothes from creasing by turning on for a minute now and then if the clothes had not been removed straight away. This on doesn’t. The clothes all come out so creased even if removed straight away. I hardly used to have to iron but now o have to iron everything. It takes 3-4 hours to dry a load, I know that is normal for heat pumps but as it doesn’t take a full 11kg it means I can only do one load of washing a day really. I have a large family and thought this would be a good solution for me but o am really disappointed.

Energy efficiency good dry

Not sure if the one I got was defective or that's what these models are like, but it was extremely noisy compared to any tumble dryer I ever heard.Specifically it was making a constant banging noise when running. When I spun the drum manually, I could feel resistance and a bang a few times for each spin.Hoover service told me this is normal and a bedding in period is necessary. While the noise slightly improved after many runs, it was still there and very apparent, so I returned the dryer to Amazon.Drying performance was good, capacity is excellent and the power consumption is great. Only the noise was an issue.A new dryer which is another heat pump model from Hoover was ordered instead, and has been working well with no excessive noise since.
