Marvel Captain America: Civil War: Magnetic Shield & Gauntlet

This is really cool! My sons love superheroes and had been using basically anything round to be their shields. I bought this and I kind of want one. The magnet is really strong so you don't have to worry about it constantly falling off, but at the same time it is easy for my kids to take it off. It says 5 and up which I think that age would love it, but my 2 and 3 year old can't get enough. The shield is heavy duty!! Which is great it definitely won't break, but make sure it is for kids who will use it nicely!!! My 3 year old was playing with it and I turned around and caught it right in the eye and not even that hard, but it HURT! So it could do some damage I am sure! So we have threatened to take them away if they are ever thrown or used to hit and so far so good!

I was skeptical, seems odd to me to have a magnet with an arm band. It was close to Easter and the one I wanted wasn't going to arrive in time...so this was the only other option. Turns out it was PERFECT. It's small, durable, and keeps his attention. He's still playing or sleeping with it 2 months later. I highly recommend for the the mini Captain Americas out there!

So, no building your own strap to attach it to your back without another magnet.You can flick the shield off the magnet without touching it, but you have to be trying and be in the correct direction. Carelessly swinging it won't work. Shearing it off without striking it is very difficult. Unfortunately it's kind of small even for kindergarteners, but they'll still love it.9 inches in diameter. Dish is a 20/32 in deep on the edge before concavity. Entire shield is 1 & 3/8 in tall. Metal plate is recessed in relation to the shield, so it will lay flat, but housed in a 11/16 in deep cylinder, 2 & 11/16 in diameter. It's then recessed 1/4 within the cylinder.Gauntlet is 5 inches long. The un-adjustable front strap is about 5 & 1/2 in across the 3 & 3/16 in gauntlet so about 8 1/2 inches in "circumference" since the gauntlet is inflexible but slightly curved. You can fold about 2inches in on itself. The rear adjustable strap will max out at around 5 inches, plus the roughly 3 inch curved surface (more than the front) of the gauntlet.

Nephews loved this toy so much I had to order another one.

Very cute item. Magnetic connection is strong and durable. The shield can actually be used as a frisbee if you want. The toughest part of using this is getting your child to keep the wrist strap on and in the right place so they look like the Captn! Thumbs up, great item.

Perfect for Halloween!! My son is 3 years old and he was Captain America. This shield fit him perfect and went with the costume just right. It held up pretty good through out the night no problems never failed on him. Awesome product very good for the price.

It's a fun shield to wear on your kid's wrist, and it comes off easily. It's not very big, but for a little one it's okay. The magnet is decently strong, and the shield is pretty sturdy, sturdy enough that you don't want it thrown around in the house. It would go well with any little Captain America outfit or cosplay though.

Little kids do love playing with this and not too bad for the price which could be a little lower but probably worth it as the children love it espescially that it is magmetic and it doesn't seemm to break too easily either!
