Clean well, but not great!
I’ve only used two of the tablets so far, and they cleaned plastic water bottles well but not as sparkling clear as I hoped.

Critical emergency preparedness for backcountry backpacking and bikepacking.
Everyone using a camping water filter while backpacking / bikepacking should carry disinfection pills for emergency use. These also kill viruses, which generally isn't a big deal in the USA, but it is good to be prepared. If the water filter breaks down, these pills will provide a safe water supply in an emergency. Yes, they don't help water to taste good and they don't filter out sediment on their own, but they will keep you alive in an emergency.

Tea stains FAIL
Tea stains. Thick dark brown tea stains on the inside of metal travel mugs. That was my issue. Read the reviews, trying to find something that would shift the stains. Bought these, followed the instructions, the stains are still there. I'm not shocked, but I'm disappointed. These tablets might be great for giving bottles and tubing a freshen up, but if you are trying to shift stains without scrubbing: useless. The only thing that has worked so far is baking soda paste and elbow grease and that isn't an option on travel mugs as I can't get my hand in to scrub.
