Well, as many have said, I have been looking EVERYWHERE for the perfect LED version of the vintage c7 lights we had back in the day (in my case I'm saying 80s to early 90s), and I've finally found something close enough! These look so much like how I remember those lights. There is only a very SLIGHT bit of darkness on parts of the bulbs, but they aren't bad enough to fuss about at all. These look amazing. I bought this one set as a test run, and so far I've had them on for almost exactly 2 weeks straight (they haven't been unplugged once), so far no bulbs whatsoever have burned out or started flickering, and the best part is they're not hot. There is only a small level of warmth on some of the bulbs, but not even enough to be concerning. I felt them again today and they are the same. I think anyone looking for these kind of vintage style lights in LED will be satisfied, I am confident enough to say that now. I'm going to test out their duration for a little longer, until the end of this month, if they're still good by then I'm getting more for my tree. Heck, maybe even for my house! On a final note: just be sure you select the 'C7led multi Colored' on the 'color' option if you're looking to get the same. If you don't select an option that says 'led' that may not be what you get. (I made that very mistake the last time I ordered lights before this, I was given incandescent). I hope these will bring others joy as they are bringing to me so far! :) they're amazing and so far very worth it!

Love the vintage look/vibe...and they do not get hot like the others. Very pleased and can't wait to put up the tree!

I bought these last year and LOVED the vintage look. The lights were perfect and warm and didn't look like LED lights at all. This year I decided to buy 3 more strands. Same vendor, I literally hit "buy again" so I assumed I'd be getting the same exact product. Nope. They look very similar but the lights are harsh, not the warm vintage vibe but more LED like. The blue is like a royal blue, not a warm vintagey blue. The white is also much harsher. I will be returning the 3 new strands as they look awful next to the original purchase. Such a bummer as I probably would have bought even more next year!

Love how bright they are and the led bulbs are easily replaced. Hopefully they will last more than 1 season

I have been looking forever for the nostalgic colored incandescent bulb look in an LED light and found a brand online that claimed to have done it, but the price was quadruple what I was hoping to spend. Thank goodness I found these! I've been so disappointed by some brands claiming to have that warm vintage look only to find they look 'off' or too cool in color or have that weird buzzy light effect — these LED lights are nothing like that — they are perfection. They give off the warm, vintage-y glow without the hot glass bulbs of the old incandescent kind. They also come with extra bulbs and can be replaced, unlike some of the other LED brands. You won't be disappointed if you're looking for old-school nostalgia in a modern energy efficient bulb!

Wanted this style of lights for nostalgia’s sake, and the kids kept asking for colored lights on the tree. Reviews of other brands repeatedly noted that they got too hot and I worried about the fire hazard. These were perfect and did not get hot. I bought 2 boxes for my 6.5ft tree, but I wish I’d bought 3.

Update I just ordered more this year to do my outside. The Quilty has gone to garbage. They are plastic cheap feeling and look like imitation led cheap lights when lit. I purchased from another company or so I thought and returned them only to receive the same trashy lights. Do not order.These led lights are awesome. They look and feel just like their predecessor but best part they are led so they won’t burn your hands, your tree, or your house down in 25 seconds. I love them soo much I’m going to order more for next year and do a retro theme for my outside display.
