Not used this soap yet as it’s to replenish my stock. Have used this soap before on all my Leathercraft projects as I like the sheen it adds to my finish, plus it helps protect and feed the leather. Fiebings is a name I trust and associate with quality and value for money.

This product is great!

I was really skeptical about using this but I’m really glad I did! It restored the black leather in my 10 year old Fusion to almost new. Really impressed with how it worked so well. Plan on an applying a couple more coats to see if it deepens the color and softens the leather even more! Update: It just keeps getting better! After curing for 24 hours the seats are softer, color deeper, scratches disappeared. Now applying extra coats in the wear creases. After 10 years of neglect the leather is sucking up the the saddle soap but responding so well. Just can’t believe, well how stupid I was to never condition the leather, but how great this is working to make the leather seats look practically new! WOW. April 24’ Update: Bought the 4 Way Conditioner from Fiebings too, they work great together! What I have been doing to rehab the 10 year old leather car upholstery is: 2X weekly Saddle Soap leave on, don’t buff off, just let it absorb. 1X weekly apply 4 way cleaner 1 seat at a time and buff off immediately, 1 seat at a time, do NOT let it dry on the leather. After doing the above for 2 months now, the cracks are all gone or invisible to my eyes & the leather color looks brand new. I think for maintenance I’ll repeat the Saddle Soap & 4Way Conditioner monthly. I have black leather seats so not sure if you will have the same results with a light color of leather as all of the products state that they will darken leather.

Used on an old pair of boots, a good pair of dress shoes, and a 60 + year old belt. Cleaned and conditioned the boots really well, cleaned old polish and etc. off the dress shoes, and cleaned and replenished the belt. I was actually most impressed by the belt, which had dried out, had small cracks, and had lost a good part of its black finish. Then, tbh, I used Safir conditioner, polish, and wax, etc. But the biggest improvement came at first with the saddle soap. Very pleased with the effects! Also, don’t forget to wipe the suds away with a clean cloth. It wiped up easy. And with another cloth, buffed to a light shine. I wish I had this years ago to use with several old pairs of shoes that I used to have. I’ll probably buy it again at sometime when I run out.
