Q: are these shelves coated/sealed so that they won't get ruined if i put them in the bathroom due to the moisture and water in air when shower is on?

They are sealed however I wouldn't put them in a bathroom unless it had really good ventilation for the moisture. Eventually I think it will start to "peel".

It’s a dark brown. Would say the second picture is the most true to color
