Staedtler Technical Drawing Template (977 115 02)

Perfect for my designing. This plastic isn't fragile under normal use. Much appreciated. Also, measurements are included.

This is the one I have been looking for.It’s a good size and all of the shapes have vertical and horizontal alignment marks for alignment. The holes are bigger to compensate for pencil sleeve thickness and there is a grid of embossed ‘feet’ that hold the template above and out of contact with the paper I assume for inking. Both of these features are a surprise and are not needed by me but do not hurt the product at all.I have used many small templates for hand drawing logic designs over the years but they are packed away with memorabilia somewhere and besides, who designs combinatorial logic anymore… This one could be even smaller but it’s the best one I’ve found of the current crop of offerings.

I think the price is a bit high for a plastic stencil, but what isn't these days. The product works well and I've had many of these over the years. After a year or two they get brittle and break.

This template woks great! From reading some bad reviews, I had some concerns. Once I starting using it, I have had no regrets. The ink risers do no cause me any issues. The color makes it easier to read than other templates. I would buy again.

I use my template a lot keep it in shirt pocket sometimes. It eventually starts breaking around on of the circles and then just a matter of time before it completely breaks. Wish they would sell one out of stainless steel.

I like the size of this, iv been looking for a smaller one of these for my small notebook. I like how the plastic is flexible and the size and markings of the holes. Only problem is the detents on the back. Stands it up away from the papper super awful to use unless you flip it over then you can't see the markings.. fix this and it would be great. Tempted to return it but I might be able to use it. I also wish they made these in clear.
