Yes - my doctor recommended this for my 93 year old mother for blood circulation and strengthening calf muscles for better balance. When used at night, it also helps her sleep without leg cramps. Bought one for myself, and I love it.

Has anyone lost weight?

I have just started using it so no as yet I have not but you can feel it in your hips and back. Has improved my back tremendously. You can see your stomach moving so it would have to at least shape you. It does burn calories and shows you how many calories you have burned. Wont get rapid weight loss for sure but over time I am certain you will lose some weight.

Does this help with weight loss or just to keep flexiblity?

Yes. If you use it often and follow a low calorie diet. It is like riding a bike.
