Canwelum Protected 3.7V 18650 Li-ion Battery and Charger, 3mm Longer than Top Flat Ones - Applicable for High-power LED Flashlight, Headlamp (2 x Batteries and 1 x Charger)

I received my charger and batteries and they worked great, just as expected. About 2 weeks later I dropped my Olight LED Flashlight on the floor and instantly the light went off. I was sure that I had broken the flashlight... until I switched to the other battery and then realized that the flashlight was fine. It was the battery that had failed because of the impact. I tried recharging it but that battery never worked again. I remembered about the other reviewers here who had luck contacting Canwelum customer service and decided to contact them myself. I am so glad I did. They were super helpful and are already sending out a replacement battery at no charge to me! The batteries and the charger both work great and are a great value but I am giving them 5 stars for the excellent customer service. This kind of customer service is all too rare these days. So you can buy from Canwelum with confidence. (And no I'm not affiliated with them in any way and yes this is a legitimate review).

I had a flashlight that took 3AAA batteries, but the box said, "For a good time dial 18650". So, I bought these batteries and charger, and after doing some flashing, my little stocking stuffer was quickly commandeered by the US Coast Guard, and now keeps stray ships from running aground. My review could possibly have been infected with a hyperbole virus, but the ad for the battery was not. Excellent product. With so many 18650 batteries to pick from, I am very satisfied that I threw a dart and hit here. I recommend these if you are questioning all the choices and hoping to get a good product.

Waited this long- waay too man people write a review after no time to gauge performance- have had this long enough to sat that initial charging went off without a hitch, subsequent chargings, one battery at a time, worked flawlessly. The charge seems to have dropped off over time- initial charge is great, but doesn't seem to last as long, but for rechargable batteries, these seem to do the job.With two batteries, the flashlight works well for me- drop ceilings, under desks, etc.-have many flashlights, this one, coupled with the power sources and re-charge station, have worked well over the last 5 months - my go-to light source.

After careful review of various battery offers, I selected this product as likely to be higher quality than some others. I have not been disappointed. They last longer in actual use than the batteries that came with my headlamp. The light is still full brightness at the end of my 45 minute long runs with the Canwelum batteries, as opposed to the non-Canwelum batteries I had started with. In actual use, I haven't run them all the way down, so I don't really know how long they will last. They certainly last long enough for me! Those "other" batteries were dying at the end of a half hour run. Note: I'm always using the brightest setting on my headlamp, and have the highest power headlamp in my running group of 100 people. I have the newer charger (light turns blue when the batteries are charged), and the charger has worked well. A full recharge takes a couple of hours after my runs. The batteries hold charge well...no perceived discharge over a one week period. Recommended!

These 18650's are great. I received my first set of Canwelum 18650's with a headlamp I ordered 3 years ago. 2 years ago bought another headlamp without batteries because of reviews of junk batteries shipping out with products, so I ordered 2 more sets of these for a charging rotation. My work requires use of a headlamp on and off for about 3-5 hours a night and all 3 sets still work like the day I bought them! I just ordered 2 more headlamps without batteries and was happy to find these Canwelum's still for sale as I know first hand ...these are the real deal! Save your money and don't buy chepo batteries that will cost you more to replace frequently in the long run, buy these and and be done with it.

I bought these after being unimpressed with the brightness of my new flashlight using three AAA batteries. I honestly didn't think there'd be much of a difference, but considering the price of this set and the fact it includes a charger, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. I am glad I did! The brightness of the flashlight improved ten-fold. Also, I did leave one of the batteries in the charger and forgot about it for a few days, but it seemed to have no ill effects and the green light was on, so I guess the built-in IC chip works for that.

I purchased these to use with an LiteXim LED headlamp. They arrived with some charge in them and I was able to test out my light to see if it worked. Then I put the batteries in the charger and it took something like eight hours or so for them to reach full charge. The work excellent in my LiteXim headlamp producing an amazingly bright beam. Even one cell was enough to power the lamp. These were a bit more expensive than other 18650 battery and charger combos I looked at but this by far had better reviews and none of the cheaper options mentioned having the protection circuitry built into the batteries that these are supposed to have. I'm quite happy with the purchase and the performance.

These batteries are decent. I use them in a NiteCore headlamp mainly for walking the dogs nightly. On average, the headlamp is used for about 30-45 minutes each night on the next to the lowest power setting, and the battery has to be recharged once every 30-35 days. So for the price, this is a pretty good battery. I can't tell much difference in the NiteCore battery and this one; but for a little more money, the Orbtronic battery far exceeds them both. The dual-battery charger is cheaply built, but works. It requires two batteries to function.
