It isn't cheap, but at least one can buy it now in the U.S. Amora is the best all-purpose mustard, period. It IS cheap in France, a little more expensive than store brands, such as the one Monoprix sells, but it is what every brasserie has on the table for steak frites and other daily fare. Apparently, the same multinational that owns Maille bought Amora and doesn't want Amora marketed in the States in case Americans realize that Maille is only good, not uber gourmet. Give me a break: I bought Maille whole grain mustard from you at the same time as my Amora order, for different purposes, and brought all of it abroad to a place where people think French's sickly sweet yellow goop is pretty good. (Yikes) Let's all work together to make Amora the inexpensive go-to product that it should be everywhere, not just in Europe.

I certainly don’t consider myself an expert on Dijon mustard but I’m a serious lover of it. This is by far the best I’ve ever tasted. I first read of this mustard years ago in an article ranking Dijon mustards. I made a point of trying all of the top ranked mustards. I could never find this one until about 2 years ago when I found on Amazon. I have ordered numerous bottles since then and recommended it to friends and family. It is special. I highly recommend if you like Dijon mustard that you try this brand.

I have a good friend who is from France. She loves to cook and uses this sauce all the time. While visiting her one day, she was sad that she was almost out. I turned on my Amazon app, found these, at a lower price than what her friends pay for it in France! It's good on sandwiches, as part of a salad dressing, or as a dip.

Amora is to Dijon mustards what Heinz is to ketchup. It is simply the very best tasting of all the Dijon's and is perfect in any application including recipes where mustard is called for as a flavored emulsification agent (sauces, salad dressings, mayonaise , etc.) and excellent plain on meats, sausages and poultry. It is also the most reasonably priced.

Do not go to France and forget to buy several jars! I was addicted the first time I had it in Lyon and I've had flight attendants bringing it to me on a regular basis to the US when I was unable to go. Glad I can find it on Amazon because covid has restricted their flights to Paris!! I've bought Maille in Paris and while you can get several different flavors of mustard there, Amora is still my go-to. Once a US Customs officer in North Carolina checked my "checked" bag and laughed with all of the jars of Amora so I gave him one. It's just the best flavor EVER!

Rather strong but good.

I read an article about mustards and which the writer considered to be the best. This was one of them. It is very very good; has a kick to it, but helps to dress up a hotdog, hamburger or sandwich. I use it when I make meatloaf. Have always preferred a dijon mustard, and this is now my go to mustard.
