N66C is recommended to set coils of 15-degree wire-weld or plastic inserted nails into a range of material, including wood shingles, insulation and fiber-cement boards, soft woods, drywall and sheathing and even steel siding. Uses fasteners from 1-1/4 to 2-1/2 inches long.

Will this work on James Hardie trim boards?

No not for hardie trim. This coil nailer is for the hardie siding not the trim. The trim needs to be attached with a finish nailer use 3" or 2 1/2" stainless steel or galvanized finish nails. Must use those types only with all hardie products. Others will corrode You need a finish nailer
