Very nice, study steamer for at home use and looks impressive when serving guests! I appreciated that it came with 20 liners which made clean up a breeze and should last me a while. So far I've only used this to make my own dumplings. I was able to fit 14 in a single basket (see pic) and they cooked perfectly in 10 minutes with a nice chew to the storebought wrappers and the pork and veggie filling stayed juicy. It's much tastier than boiled and microwaved and is healthier than pan frying. I'm looking forward to trying out more recipes (esp dim sum!) and with frozen storebought dumplings when I want them to taste fresher.A little more about my set up which you can see in the 2nd pic: I used a 12 in saute pan with a steam ring to prop up the steamer. The steam ring is a nice accessory to have since it lets you use the steamer with a wider range of pots and keeps the steamer in better condition longer. The ring I used is also from the same brand so they fit perfectly together.

I love dumplings and usually pan fry them but I just got this bamboo steamer and cooked gyoza and some vegetables today. The steamer sits right on top of my 10 inch pasta pot (didn't need the ring) and I cooked them for 10 min. The gyoza came out super nice (like the mochi texture I love!), came right off the steamer thanks to the liner. I think steaming is the healthiest way to cook vegetables as it retains the nutrients, keeps the bright color and doesn't require greasy oil. I want to cook rice and chicken next time, and also frozen soup dumplings I buy in Chinatown. This steamer is so professional looking, I can serve it to the table to impress my friends!

Used this for making dumplings for the first time ever and it worked really well. Looking forward to making more things in it. The parchment that came with it didn’t work out so well though, they stuck to it; next time we’ll be sure to use cabbage leaves instead. I am grateful that there is no glue or toxic materials used.

Baskets are good. I did notice a few veryvery small slivers of bamboo coming off after first use but that may be normal. Baskets worked very well and were easy to clean with supplied scrub brush.

The product came nicely packaged and without damage. The liners and chopsticks were a nice touch to help me get started. Fits right on top of the steamer ring for when I boil water underneath (which should save it from getting heat damaged over time). It was so easy to make dumplings and veggies with this! Can't wait to try other recipes I have on deck.

Needed a new steamer and noticed there was one from the same place that did my steam ring. They go perfectly together. A friend who was over for dinner even mentioned they look restaurant quality! Now if only my dumplings looked as good

These steamer’s disintegrate after a few times using. Don’t ever buy from these vendors.Amazon should not let them sell on its website.False advertising.Horrible product.

After much researching for a steamer to make dim sum at home we decided on this bamboo steamer and am very satisfied so far. There are a lot of cheaper steamers out there but you get for what you pay. Our steamer came well packaged and seem well crafted. The liners and chopsticks were a nice touch. Chopsticks were not the cheap variety. We did purchase the steam ring which I highly recommend and it worked perfectly. Going old school with steaming your food makes you appreciate the healthy results and I can honestly say adds another way to enjoy cooking.Btw, we did steam vegetables and it was delish. Great purchase!
