This leaves my hair white!! Can I do anything to keep that from happening?

It has powder in it which is why it looks white after application. Give it about 5 minutes to dry, take your fingertips and rub through it. It lightens your original color but if you manipulate it with your hands it almost becomes invisible and shows no signs of white but blends in nicely and absorbs the oil. I have used at least 10 different brands and this old tried and true works great!

Can it be used on any hair color?

I have used it on dark brown colored hair and gray hair with no problem. In my opinion, it’s the best around for the price!
