Way cooler than I expected. Since the price was low, I assumed it was going to be a tinny speaker with some dim lights. It's actually pretty decent though. Speakers aren't amazing or anything but sound decent and can get loud. Actually a LOT louder than I would have expected for the price.Light show is pretty cool too. Syncs to the music and really adds something to the experience at night.Can't speak for the battery yet. I've only just tested the speaker and light for a little while. Assuming it actually lasts the advertised six hours and holds a charge well, I'll be very happy with this.

This review is based off the unit received from Amazon. The unit I received is not the one pictured on Amazon.If you order one and you receive one that looks like my pic send it back and don't even bother with it. The lights suck, it wouldn't turn off one day and also had a problem with the sound getting so muffled we could barely hear it. The lights are on right now and I didn't push the power button. The girl I spoke with at Amazon customer service was very nice and it's going back to them.Last year we did purchase a speaker identical to the one that is shown in the Amazon pics (not purchased from Amazon). First one was not great so we exchanged it within a week and the second was awesome. The only reason we wanted to replace it was because part of the charge port cover broke off and we can't find the missing piece so we figured it wouldn't last much longer with use around the pool. I would probably rate that one 4-5 stars. The lights dance on the bottom and sides of the pool, it's loud and while yes the sound can get a bit muffled it recovers quite nicely.

I will not lie, first I bouth this kind of a joke, that light in the pool... jajaja.. but this ended being an awesome bluetoth spearker, good sound, batery life is huge. the desing could be better, but when it is on the pool it matches. Recomended you will love it at night or at parties. The crazy light will work also for parties!

Do not buy. Speaker cuts in and out when the phone is 5 feet away. Speaker when it works sounds ok but the intermitent sound is very annoying. Lights are very dim. I fully charged it for almost 2 days and it didn't get any better.

Never bothered to leave a review when I got this. Not sure why the other bad reviews.Purchased 18 months ago. Used in our pool in Redding where summer is 100 to 115 degrees everyday. Fully submersed, amused you can hear music under the water. Now back in San Diego and use it in my hot tub all the time. Never had an issue. Keep in mind it’s a single speaker that is fully submersible. Battery lasted all day.

Product was recommended by a friend that had one for over a year and thought it was great. Our experience was not so positive. Unit does not maintain a Bluetooth connection with the music source (iPhone8) at 10 feet with a clear line of sight, constantly dropping out. When it played music, the sound was ok, not distorted, but we also didn’t turn the volume up very loud either. Can’t speak to overall battery life as we only used it twice for about 1-1/2 hours each time. Can’t speak to the quality of its waterproofing other than we had it floating in the pool while we were just lounging (no splashing or horseplay) and it played music when it could maintain the BT connection (which it struggled with), and LEDs flashed. One minor nit is the inability to just listen to music without the LEDs flashing. Overall, can’t really recommend it, as we are really disappointed with the unit since the BT performance is so poor. We will probably return the unit if we are still able to.

I was looking for a portable speaker to be used in the pool, when I found this, which boasts and added light show and it sits on the water. We have only experienced a couple of issues with this speaker. One: It does work pretty well in the water, unless the people in the pool are a bit too active. Then it cuts in & out as it rides a wave. I'd only use for calm seas :) but it does have a handy hook that you can pop out and hang out of the pool. Second: The Bluetooth capability doesn't always work, and takes some finagling (power it off and back on once or twice and then it will usually pair. We only had one instance when we couldn't get it to pair at all. If they wanted to improve this item, letting you know when the battery was low might be a good first step. If it acts up, we just usually assume it must be low and recharge it.

This is a wonderful product. My grandson chased this floating speaker all over the pool this weekend and when it got a little dark he really enjoyed the light show. For adults the speakers aren't bad but this is coming from someone who usually only uses Bose so I guess they are great. The only downside is when you have an active grandson drowning the speakers they get a little muddled but they eventually bounce the water out the the sound quality is restores. I for see many hours of use out of this little floating gem this summer.

I was skeptical about this product after reading some negative reviewed but I decided to take a chance for the price and I have to say I am pleased with this purchase. I have only used it twice but it has performed as described so far.I bought it for my hot tub because my LED lights stopped working and this was a cheaper fix, with the added bonus of music. I connects fine to my iphone 20 feet away, has plenty of volume, and yes as some have pointed out, when it gets water on the speaker it muffles the sound (and as my hot tub has waterfalls, it happens when it floats under them), but honestly, what do you expect when you pour water on a speaker? I plan to tie a string to it to stop it from going under the waterfall and then it won't be a problem. But even if you do get water on it you simply turn it upside down and the water drains (it helps to just blow some air into the screen to help clear the water).My only reason for not rating it a 5 is that it would be nice if you could have the lights on slow change mode while playing music (like they do when NOT playing music). The lights flash with the music and they flash too fast for my liking and you don't have the option to stop them from flashing to the music. Even with a slow song they flash like you are in a night club! Over all, worth the money in my opinion.

If water goes on top of speaker, sound gets very low and we can't hear the music...and water goes on top of it easily in the pool.....lights are a great effect when at night...

The unit didn't work because it would not charge.
