There was no smell as other may mention … it was brand new on the hanger in the package and I opened it and there was absolutely no smell . It’s quite large too which I was thrilled about ! I ordered the snoopy space blanket as a gift for my dad for Easter and the Care Bears one for my mom :) these are such a steal for the price. They are about the size of a large throw, the images are good quality and they are so soft and warm! They have a thicker fleece texture, I think these will make really good blankets for the couch or for the wintertime. They make such cute gifts and went perfectly in their Easter baskets, highly recommended!!
