Nothing to see here folks cause this camera doesn't work.
Set-up on this product was awful, well actually non-existent if you want the wifi option to work. I have worked in the tech industry for over 20 years, including the installation of hardware in various capacities, modems, networks, vehicle networks. I purchased this product due to its supposed ease of use and installation, thinking that my family could troubleshoot it if anything ever went south. Well this never even got a start. While I could get it to work once while it was wired it would never find the 2.4ghz wifi network I was trying to connect to, the indoor camera itself had a rattle in it like something was already falling apart. So I went online to look for faq, and any other troubleshooting methods, reset the modem as instructed, went through all of the steps again and still nothing. I thought well maybe just this camera is bad so I then tried to hookup the outdoor camera I purchased from the same company, this time it couldn't even power up. Also the paint was already starting to come off on the outdoor hardware mount. Save your time, money and frustration and go a different route. Also keep in mind that you are connecting to a cheesy chinese website in order to move forward. I could never quite get comfortable with that idea for security purposes and will now have to spend time renaming my network and resetting connections to our other wireless devices.

All those stories you've heard about the awful software? Lacklustre documentation? It's all true. I've tried the windows client, the android one and it's a pain. Ended up using third party on both systems and the worked fine, e.g, search in windows or play store for Onvif recorder and see what works for you.Other than that it appears to work within the expectations of the price rannge. I will add to the review long term once it's been out in an Arizona summer.

I'd have to say that for the price - this is an excellent device.
Before purchasing I read a lot of the reviews and watched most of the video posted reviews in detail... I'd have to say that for the price - this is an excellent device... I will agree that the software is currently lacking, but depending upon how one intends to use it - the camera can work very well in most circumstances. I bought one - tried it out for a few days - then invevitably bought 2 more.. :)My intent for use with these is purely outdoors - and viewing then boundaries/entries/exists of my home.. Because it's running through a web server I don't have this focused on my family for privacy reasons. That said, if one is using a NVR system or Virtual Network DVR system this camera work perfectly into the overall scheme Using ONIVF, dedicated IP routes, and some trial/error, one can manage this camera on their LAN with little or no issues. I push my data to an offsite FTP server that allows me to manage my entire system of various cameras externally. It's color and and quality are excellent.. the device is sturdily built.. it's sleek and blends in very well, and has a nice low-profile look..The Mobile App needs an overhaul in terms of practical viewing of multiple cameras, and stability of connections are often flaky. (again this is when using the mobile app)... I mainly use the mobile app for admin tasks and occasional reviews of this/that.. The motion sensing alerts/messaging work well, but the setup within the app for them is glitchy..

Pretty Good for the price just some limitations
This inexpensive camera has been pretty good so far. The quality is good both day and night. Always connects. The Motion control triggers at shadows. The Software the company provides on their website doesn't seem to work on any PC I have. The text that should be in the boxes used to add and configure cameras are blank. So far all the videos the camera has captured to its Memory Card have been shadows, it sends alerts all the time and 95% of the pictures are of nothing. However using iSPY software it does more capturing then not. At this price having a reliable camera with decent resolution is good enough.

NOT as advertised...Beware.
This camera is nice. Not the best but definitely not the worst I've had. It has a nice outer metal construction. It'll be great for an outdoor camera. Great picture with and without the night vision. Very sensitive motion detection. Be careful where it's pointed. It will go off with the slightest bit of movement. The app is a little bit hard to follow & use. Because a lot of the options that are on the app, aren't features on the actual camera. Which is confusing, considering that one of the many features listed in the description, for example. Says it has two way audio. Nope... doesn't apply to this particular camera for some reason. No mic, or speaker even on the camera. Even though it is plainly stated that it does have a two way audio feature....the app shows that it can operate this feature but DOES NOT have it. A lot of the English "language" is phrased jumbled up & backwards like Yoda from Star Wars. Some Chinese words pop up randomly if you happen to push a button that's "wrong"?? Not sure what it says because I don't speak Chinese. It can definitely be confusing especially if you don't read backwards....Not very happy that I thought I was getting a semi-top of the line camera with all these great features& then it didn't have near as much as I had intended. Even though it is stated in the description that it does. (Still trying to figure that one out) The wifi has worked a lot better than I had imagined. The initial setup for the camera has to be connected with the ethernet cable. But then can be unplugged to connect to the wifi or you can keep it hard lined in. Good signal distance from the router , to the camera on the other side of my house. Although occasionally the camera needs reset(unplugged/plugged back in) it will automatically reconnect to your wifi with no problems. I'll leave another update on the performance of it once I've had it for a couple months! Hopefully it'll last that long.
