One thing that other reviews and videos do not cover in detail is the phone answering capabilities this device. This is like having the same hands free answering in your vehicle. When a call comes in, you just push the pause/play button to answer and the call is connected. The music or FM radio stops and the caller comes through loud and clear on the built in speakers. This is a must have purely for this reason. Other phone holders muffle the sound so it is difficult to hear the caller. This device lets you keep your phone in your pocket and out of the way. I paid $600 for my phone so I don't want it riding on my handle bars and take the chance of losing it. The other great feature is the ease of how this can be removed from the carrier. It also makes a great device just to carry around to listen to your favorite music or use for a flash light. You see so many different amplifiers advertised for your phone. This sounds better than many of those. This has a deep rich bass sound built right in. There are so many other uses for this device. I even use it in my office to take conference calls because my phone speaker is not loud enough. This device is not without it's flaws. The light is not bright enough to use as a bike light. The FM tuner has a difficult time receiving distant stations. However, it makes up for these flaws in it's phone capabilities.

Bought two of these and they are so cool! Sound is great and so easy to use. The FM Radio is a worthless add though. If I bought it thinking the FM would be really good this would have 1 star.

Works okay for just cruising around. Designed for mountain bike or something with larger handlebars.... not a cruiser. I like the rechargeable internal battery and the sound quality is decent. For the money, it's a great buy.

[UPDATE: I had originally given this product 4 stars but had to change to 2 after it failed in less than a month. I am having to send it in for a refund. Be wary of this product because obviously it isn't made very well. Very disappointing.}I use this product every day and up to 3 hours total per day. I charge it at night and when I get to work in the morning (I commute on my bike). Overall, I really recommend it - it helps make enjoyable rides that much better and helps me get through tougher rides when I need some distraction. I do have a couple notes I wanted to share:-Use this a speaker mainly and a light secondly. Yes, there are lights on it but they are not very strong and they do fade quickly if you are using it with the speaker. Don't take this on a busy road and think it's enough to use only as a front headlight. I have another light and I use that along with the blinking mode on this light when riding. I did not feel completely secure when I used just the light on this while riding. I felt like the cars barely saw it. Think of the light as a flashlight only - it's great when you are walking the dog at night but that's the extent. Get a real light if you are going to be riding at night.-The sound is very good for a portable speaker. Think of it as a 8 out of 10 for this type of device. At the price point you can't beat it. It def. gets loud enough for one person. It's a quality sound product.-The Bluetooth is solid and connects well. I had no problem connecting it to my phone.-The battery life is solid as long as you are not using Bluetooth and the light at the same time. If you do the light will fade after about 30-45 minutes.-The SD card is a great feature and helped me when my phone kept running low on battery during rides because I was using Bluetooth for music. Instead I use the SD card and my phone battery doesn't run out.-It's made it through a couple rain storms and done fine. I'm not sure if it technically is waterproof but it's solid enough to ride in light to medium rain.-The radio is terrible and doesn't pick up any channels (maybe 3 or 4 and they are fuzzy). Don't intend to use this a radio. It seemed like a great idea but was disappointing. Maybe your results may vary depending on the area but I live in a major city and couldn't pick up much.

I stupidly did not open this up for a couple of months, waiting for the weather to get warm. Now that I want to use it, I find that the Mode and Back/Volume- buttons do not work, but I'm stuck with it. Buy something more name-brand.

I've had this product for about a month, and I can only say this was one of the best purchases I've ever made online. Sound quality is great, usage is pretty convenient, battery is good and installation is quick and easy. All in all, my riding experience has been quite upgraded since I started using this product. Light beacon is a great bonus, though it wasn't the reason I bought this product for anyway. Only problem I could find was the FM Radio, which didn't capture any of the local stations. This is no biggie for me, as I can listen to these stations using my phone via BT anyway.Shipment was also very quick (a week from UK to Israel).All in all, for $39, this was great value for money.

Nice little addition to my cycling routine. The volume control could be improved so it doesn't cut out and then reappear at the new level. It doubles as the song selection button so to increase volume, you have to press and hold. But, unlike most volume controls, you have to guess how loud it's going to be when you finally let the button go. Also, the alarm button does not work well. Sometimes it blares and sometimes it doesn't. Everything else works great.UPDATE: It's still hanging in there with same criticisms. I love the added security that having a flashing light gives me. (I also have a flashing red light on the seat post.) Get one of each before biking EVEN during daylight.Also, IF YOU HAVE and Bluetooth wireless Cateye Strada bike computer, you must turn it on while the Ivation is somewhere else. Having it on the handlebar prevents the cadence sending unit and the speed sensing sending unit from syncing with the bike computer module on the handlebar. Simply pull the Ivation out of its rubber holder, place it somewhere about 10 feet away and then reset your Cateye for your ride. THEN reinsert your Ivation and you're off and peddling.

Great flashlight, radio works well and bluetooth very good too.

Highly recommend this ticks all the boxesI've been in the market for a portable radio for my bike for quite a while and I only discovered this a month or two ago. Although the likes of shower radios can be picked up for much cheaper than this product, this is the only bike radio I've found on the market.The rubber mount (which supports the device very securely) was not wide enough for my handle bars however its attached via two cable ties and it hasn't moved an inch since. The speaker itself is of very good quality and is loud enough when amongst traffic, and using the radio function the reception weakens slightly when riding under trees. I've done 2 10 minute trips using the radio and the light and 2 40 minute tips one using both the light and radio and one just the radio. After those journeys it still hasn't ran out of battery which is very impressive.Although not used often the bluetooth function seems to work fine. It's not waterproof, but what speaker is? So pleased with the product recommend it to anyone.

As others have said, the sound is amazing considering the size of speakers. Works very well with mini SD card or blue tooth. FM reception is not great. It receives some stations but not others. The handlebar mount is secure and the unit is easy to remove and insert. I don't ride at night, so can't comment on the light for riding. I bought it primarily for playing music during a leisurely ride. I anticipate using it elsewhere whenever I feel like listening to music. The sound is so good that you might be be tempted to turn it up, which is probably not a good idea when one should also be listening for traffic. The play/pause button is easily engaged to mute the sound when attention should be on surrounding traffic. The alarm function is a rather jarring sound. It will announce your presence to pedestrians but I would rather use a bell.
