I don't normally write reviews, but this deserves to be reviewed! It was easy to put together and put up. I read the other comment, so I knew to put the part on before putting it up.The only thing I had any trouble with was getting it all to fit into the top cover, since I didn't loosen the screws before I hung it on the bracket. I am NOT an expert on electricity or putting fans up. This didn't take me very long and puts out a LOT of air!

The media could not be loaded.  I'll start by saying the fan looks great and really puts down some air!.. but on the high setting there's a quite noticeable motor drone noise that can be distracting. It isn't heard on low or medium which will be 98% of my use. You should also be prepared for 'what's different in this image than the previous image' style of instructions. I just put a hunter fan in our primary bedroom without issue but with this fan I missed the yoke cover because I didn't spot all the differences between step 3 and 4. My fault for not taking an inventory of parts before starting but as others have said these instructions could use a revision.My last gripe and probably the most impacting day to day is the control of the unit. There are 3 light settings (daylight, warm white and a mix of both) and 3 speeds (low, medium, high). The bright white and warm white modes aren't bright enough to adequately light the room itself which is ok for me as I prefer the mixed mode which has both LED strips on at the same time. The problem comes in with the mixed mode being the 3rd option and if you turn off the light with the switch or remote it doesn't remember your setting it starts back at daylight and you have to cycle back to mixed. So every time I turn this fan off I have to have the remote to cycle back to the 3rd light setting. The same goes for the fan. If you turn the unit off while the fan is on turning the switch back on does not turn the fan on. I wish that turning off the light via switch or remote would remember the last settings.

The fan works great- throws a good amount of air and the light is plenty bright. The dimming feature doesn't work that well, but we didn't buy it for that. It dims slightly, but not enough to matter. Overall an interesting conversation piece that is functional.

Wish it had light dimmer

It's been sitting in my garage since I bought this fan, yeah... Right! When I opened the instruction book and I saw that Bracket thing, I was more sure that my tools are not complete, I also need a ladder and a power drill, it is not as easy as I thought, but this fan looks good though.

The fan was awesome! Being vertically challenged, I love the remote control that came with the fan as I could control the speed of the fan as well as the brightness of the light easily. Good bye to my old fan which I had to do a tippy toe to pull the strings.

The only suggestion I have. Put the blades on before you hang it. Yes, you have to work around the blades while wiring it. The blades screw in from the top. This seemed easier than trying to mount the blades after it is hung. If you are hangin the 5 inch downrod it is a little tight.... just my 2cents...

The fan is just what I wanted, right size, nickel base and 52 inch blades with choice of white or nickel color. Just the right price.
