how many hours of continuous light?

I was able to run 2 of the 4 on a camping trip for 2 days, 8 hrs each night, for a total of 16 hrs on the original/supplied batteries. Plenty of usable light- I highly recommend!!! I will be storing these in my camping storage bins (as to not forget to pack them next year) and purchase more for around the home for emergency use and or special occasions.

Okay this is an odd question I am sure. I am wanting to light up a small arena to ride at night. Would these put out enough light with buying mulitipl

One lantern provides enough light to read by basically. I would think it would take a lot to light a small arena unless you are just looking for dim lighting. I suppose its possible if you cdon't need much light.

I bought both this Etekcity latern as well as the Mallome Led Latarn. Both were high quality products, functioning as promised. The Etelcity box says 60 lumens (which certainly is enough to serve its purpose): the MalloMe Latern states its Lumens to be 146 Lumens. Given my purpose to is provide light...the chances are good that I will be sending one the the products back..but again - both are quality products that do a fine job..perhaps just one does it a bit better.

Can 14500 3.7 volt rechargeable lithium-ion batteries be used in this lantern?

I use rechargeable 1.2v Eneloop Batteries. At 3.6 volts they are a little dimmer than 3 AA batteries at 4.5 volts. The difference is visible when looking at the lantern but not noticeable when used to light a room during a power outage. I replace the batteries with freshly charged batteries after an outage or every year if not used.
