Can you weld this product

The wire cannot be soldered. The advert is misleading. The "bare copper wire" is the colour of the product. Could not use this product for electrical project. It is just a crafts product for Jewelry Craft Making.

What type of wire is it? It is not pure copper. I tested the "wire" and it does not conduct electricity. Please list the chemical composition.
