This is a good quality replica of the original British Army version of the classic Norwegian Army Shirt - commonly referred to as a "Norgi Top". Made from 100% cotton, it is extremely durable and very comfortable to wear. This is the original version like the official Army issue
For those who have served in the Army, they will remember this shirt. There are versions out there which are "smooth" but this shirt has the little loops of thread like the official issue shirt that I remember from the 90's.Nice and warm, the zip collar will take some time to stretch and feel comfortable against your neck, when you first put it on, in can feel a little tight, but it starts feeling comfortable after the third wearing.

Paid good money for this. Sleeves way to short. Not particularly warm and certainly not a patch on the issued ones I had in the Army. I would NOT buy again.

Liked it , but zip was rubbish
The fit was really good , quite long in the body so tucked in it is secure and won’t pull out. Liked the feel of the material,Down side to the shirt the quality of the zip is very poor and broke on first use, the item has been returned and I’m awaiting a refund

Nice shirt, very warm.
Almost as I remember the good old 'Norgee' from my Territorial Army days. Sizing is a tad snug, so order one size larger. Other than that, excellent shirt, very warm!

Good but....
This seems a well made thick, durable looking shirt that probably keeps you warm when its cold & cool when its warm. But the length of it is unexpectedly long..ok not really a problem, but there are no labels to confirm where it's made or even to conform that it is 100% cotton as advertised. Most importantly for me was that it has a very strong almost toxic smell that I found intolerable...maybe the dye that was used? &/or packaged for a long time in mothballs? That smell may wash out the first time but if it doesn't then I personally don't want to wear it. Obviously if I wash it the seller would not want it returned, so for me unfortunately its going back.

Very warm
This is a superb mid-layer shirt, quite long but I prefer that. My only worry is that my wife will steal it!
