Beware the 15 min "extended runtime" battery
This Sawzall (2621-20) works wonderfully for a little less than 15 min of runtime, then the battery dies. It has as much power as my friend's corded Milwaukee Sawzall, and the battery keeps it running full strength until it dies, but I can drain the battery faster than I can charge a second. The battery I'm using is the M18 Red Lithium XC extended runtime (48-11-1828) that came with it.Unfortunately it appears battery powered tools haven't improved as much as their marketing would have you believe.If you plan on only ever making a few cuts at a time, this is a great tool choice for you. If you're buying Milwaukee because it's marketed as "Nothing But Heavy Duty" and plan on taking on anything but a small job, stick with the corded version -- you'll save money and be much happier with it.
