Killing Eve Series 3 Books Collection Set By Luke Jennings (Codename Villanelle, No Tomorrow, Die for Me)

If you are looking for an active thriller with a cat and mouse twist, this series is for you. If you enjoy witting spy series with complex characters, this series is for you. The books are amazing and the TV series does great justice to the books.

Everything I wanted, the delivery was very fast

I wanted to see what the Netflix series was about, so I added these novels to my library

I noticed a lot of reviews compare this book to the TV series. The best thing you can do, in my humble opinion, is to treat the two as different stories. They are different from each other in a lot of ways, both major and minor, and it helped me to remember that Killing Eve was "inspired by" Code Name Villanelle, in the same way that TV's Dexter was "inspired by" the book Darkly Dreaming Dexter, or that any one of the Marvel Movies was "inspired by" the Marvel comics. They are not slavish copies, nor are they intended to be.Think of this trilogy as an experience in it's own right, and ignore what you know of the TV series when you read it. You'll find it to be excellent entertainment in its own right.Update: Now that I've seen the complete TV series I'm convinced that the book trilogy is a far better story. Having read the books, I've been consistently disappointed by the TV series.

Killing Eve is a great read. Suspenseful, good writing quality. Loved the characters and the ending.

The story is really quite different from the tv series, and better for it. It's an interesting story that really zips along. Interestingly the first two books are written in the third person but the third is written from Eve's perspective. The relationship between Eve and Villanelle is of course the main concern and Mr Jennings has really created an interesting dynamic between them. I look forward to a fourth instalment, with Villanelle very much alive!
