It's nice quantity and hot! Hot like a wood burning firepit. The container isn't too heavy that my friend and I could even carry it. It was sturdy/heavy enough that I wouldn't worry about kids around it either.We are so happy we ordered this one. It was easy to install and looks like high quality. It was also so nice and bright that our solar lights in our trees turned off during the burning. The flame was about 1 foot tall on the highest setting.

Rolled the dice and bought this propane fire pit after reading a ton of reviews of several.Super happy we chose it. It’s the perfect size for our large deck. The flames are adjustable and they heat very well. It was delivered without anything broke or missing. It’s heavy. Easy to assemble and looks lovely! Looks nice on our new patio! The paint finish is not fantastic, and there was a 2" chip in the rim paint which we just repaired with a walnut-colored furniture repair pen. My husband bought a natural gas conversion kit at a nearby BBQ store and converted it - we weren't able to make the electric starter work with the NG - but it works great, otherwise. We used two bags of the lava rocks that came with the unit as a base layer, and then spread about 50+ pounds of fire glass over the lava rocks - much cheaper than the 100 pounds of glass we would have needed otherwise - and you can't tell that the lava rocks are there. It does indeed put out a lot of heat; much more than the outdoor propane column heater that we were using before, and provides a lot more ambience.

What's not to love? The substantial size allows for 8 people to comfortably sit around it. It isn't your run of the mill, home improvement store looking firepit. It looks fablous on our lakeside deck. We haven't had any problems with it so far and I would buy it again in a New York minute. There are only two things that I would mention just so others aren't disappointed (I wasn't, but others might have different expectations)--if you live in a place that gets really cold in the winter and are expecting it to keep you toasty warm, you won't be very happy. We've been using it on 70 to 80 F evenings and the only person who might start to feel too warm and have to move is the one sitting directly down wind of it. We actually prop our feet on the rim. The only other item that might disappoint some people is the fact that the lava rocks do not fill the bowl as completely as pictured and they are somewhat smaller in size. I just bought a 10-pound jug of reflective fire glass and sprinkled it on top of the lava. It adds a nice sparkle when the fire is burning. We have been shopping for a firepit for several years and this one had exactly the look I wanted and the price was very reasonable compaired to similar styles which ran as high as $1,800.00. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a firepit more for the ambience than for the heat. For us it's perfect.

We put this firepit in our backyard. We have desert landscaping and the firepit was the finishing touch.I love the look. It’s not too heavy, or too big, but substantial. Heat output is good too. And best of all, no smoke!!!

I like the design of this firepit. I looked at a lot of similiar ones priced at $2000 or more in all the patio stores. This one doesnt look as nice as those but it has the same design and at night you cant tell. For the price difference I'll take it. I found there were plenty of rocks but we will probably eventually replace with a little nicer rock. I got the Bond 20-pound propane tank hideaway to sit to the side. You can put your feet on the top outer edge, it doesnt get hot. Fire pit puts off decent heat but I live at the beach in San Diego so its not that cold. Came with a small chip but it had touch up so no problem. I recommend it

Ours worked as advertised for about 9 months. We only used it a few times and we kept it covered when not in use. Then one evening I tried to turn it on and no gas was coming out of the heating element so it would not light. I tried resetting the propane regulator and switching to a new propane line. It was irreparable and had to be thrown away.

Love the product. Had it professionally converted to natural gas and it works like a charm. It’s easy to start and is a beautiful modern appliance on our paver deck. We’re in Florida by the beach so we do have cool windy nights. It’s perfect for chilling outside all year long.
