Total Recall/ Total Recall 2070
I recently purchased the double feature DVD: "Total Recall/ Total Recall 2070". I recall watching the original "Total Recall", starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, a few years ago, and I wanted to see how it compared to "Total Recall 2070", starring Michael Easton (TV's "One Life To Live"). The two movies were similar in some ways, but quite different in other ways.

Bait and Switch
The Schwarzenegger movie is a classic with special effects amazing for the time they were done, now bordering on hilarious and disturbing. A great campy action joyride well worth seeing.Unfortunately, I thought the movie with it was the 2012 remake. I have seen it and enjoyed it. This movie "2070" is a joyless film noir detective style movie that takes place in the same world as Total Recall, but would have fit better if advertised as a poor man's Blade Runner. No one would watch this movie intentionally.

Its a way to waste time I guess.
Its sad, that TV is so terrible nowadays that I have been reduced to watching movies like this.

Mixed feelings
Total recall with Arnold Schwarzenegger is a great movie. The second movie that came in this set total recall 2070 was horrible. That’s why I gave this set three stars

Two movies
Total Recall is the classic with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Widescreen (1:85:1). Total Recall 2070 Machine Dreams appears to be the pilot for the Total Recall 2070 TV series. According to the packaging 83 minutes long, Full screen (1:33:1). Minor Spoiler, maybe? A police drama set in the future in the Total Recall Universe, where a police detective is partner with a android.

Great for the price.
Although this disc comes accross as a kind of poor man's Bladerunner it's plausibility and strength of performance sees it through. If you like Total Recall or Paycheck or are simply an inquisitive Philip K. Dick fan, buy it.
