very bad,hdd in the pc came with windows installed not properly,many errors,never got to the home screen,hdd failure.

Not a bad little PC. But be realistic, this isn't going to be a good system for gaming or heavy application use. You can't expect that considering the specs on this unit and the low price point. However, if you're looking for something that you can use to surf the web, do homework, watch videos and light document work, this should be sufficient for your needs. It comes with Windows 8.1 Bing so everything you need is included (except a monitor, but you probably already have one). The Bing version of Windows 8.1 is the same as other versions, for the most part. It's a full license, not a trial or stripped down version. They just call it Bing because it comes pre-loaded with Bing as the default web browser.I did go to Crucial's website to order 4 more GBs of RAM for a total of 8GB (maximum is 8 GB). This only cost around $30 and will boost performance a little bit. Crucial is a respected manufacturer of memory modules. Anyway, the only real complaint so far is Acer pre-loads way too many applications on the computer. Other than that I have no complaints, again, be realistic in what this thing can do and you should be satisfied.

Decent little machine for $250 at Walmart, 4 problems tho.... CPU was soldered into the board like you'd find in an Xbox, hdmi is too sharp (might just be me tho), No PCIE slot, oh and it uses laptop ram and a laptop hard drive... don't get me wrong, this is a great computer but it's literally a note book in a slim line case, my old emachine has a faster cpu speed of 2.8, but it's a dual core, and it has a PICE x16 slot and it's from 2010... Cmon guys, quit jippin people

It a nice machine I though it would be good for world of Warcraft. I was wrong, lots of freeing and at time thew screen goes black. Other times I can get down to 1 fps for about 3 minutes. I would recommend i5 or better. Otherwise great price for Facebook.
