Get blade remover!
Be careful very sharp! I bought for my paper cutting, only one that works for me. However I did have an accident, yep ended up at the ER getting stitches. I suggest getting the blade removed! Works GREAT!

Great blades
Very sharp blades that I use for cutting leather. Blades last a good while and are very sturdy, not easily broken. The fit with the Swann Morton scalpel handle is tight with no wiggle in the blade.

Mostly all good
I was hopeful that the shorter blade would flex less and it just might when I put it to the test in actual use.The concerns: Found it harder to install on handle and when in place I couldn’t believe that it wiggle a minute amount. My E/11 & 11 blades are Rock Solid!Also while the price was in line with and cheaper than some, the box was slightly yellowed and had a price sticker $22.95. Now these are for leatherwork so it matters not if they have been around awhile.

The #10 remains my favorite although the #10A is a better blade for cutting ...
I use these for building display model aircraft. They are packaged in units of five. You need to be more careful in loading your scalpel with these blades. The #10 remains my favorite although the #10A is a better blade for cutting heavier materials.
