Autel Robotics Evo Ii 8K Drone

Love this Drone, lots of features and very easy to fly. Autel has outstanding support services, very responsive to questions. The users manual is very basic and does not cover all capabilities that this Drone has. Thank god their on line and phone support are so good. They have online tutorials that help, but they need a lot more content. I spent a long time trying to decide between Autel and DJI. The EVO 2 is as good and in my opinion better than the comparable Maverick by DJI. The deciding factor for me is that Autel allows more autonomy on where to fly. DJI’s “nanny ware” limits where you can fly. Autel lets you make those decisions for yourself.Camera and video are great, controls are responsive and Drone flies very well. Obstacle avoidance works great and return to home and other safety features are fantastic. All in all a great purchase - would definitely recommend it.

EVO drones are exquisite machines. I have an EVO I and now I have the EVO II. I can't imagine a more perfect drone although maybe they exist. EVO II is hard to find right now but "Beach Camera Same Day Shipping storefront" was was able to deliver one to me within 2 days. WOW. I'll eventually try our DJI but I can't imagine it better quality than AUTELL. Don't underestimate the quality of the EVO I OR EVO II.These are top of the top of he top quality dronrs.

I've owned the Evo 2 8k just over a week and it has issues and many rough edges.UPDATE: BEWARE of restocking fees. I was hit with a HUGE restocking fee for returning my drone. With all the problems this drone has AND restocking fees it should be avoided.For one the video feed on the controller is incredibly choppy maybe 1 or 2 FPS at best. The drone complains about weak signal even when it is only 30 feet from the controller. Someone on the Evo 2 forum suggested I turn off wifi and bluetooth on my phone so tried that but no effect.I then went to an open field and the drone regularly loses connection with the controller and begins returning home even at short distances. I also tried it without the phone and no improvement.On the flight itself the lag between stick movements and drone movement is high, I estimate at least 200ms.I've tried contracting Autel via their service page, phone and email with *no *response so far.I REALLY wanted this to work but it's not anywhere near an upgrade to my old Mavic Pro at least so far. I bought this as an early fathers day present for my dad but so far VERY disappointed.

Has great range and photos and videos are great. Photos posted where took during the dust storm from Africa and are pip from video. The haze is dust in the air. Just adjust the setting and see what works best for what your shooting. Been out 2 miles with it so far and still had full signal with line of sight. From inside the house been out a mile with phone broadcasting to the big screen tv. My remote has a directional signal reflector on it Item# B073W928GJ . It fits on the Autel remote. If you get below 200 feet with alot of trees between drone and you, will say low signal warning but just fly up and it comes in strong. Return home works perfect if you lose signal completely. Can cancel go home when you get signal back. Drone responds instant to remote input and can fly almost like a stunt drone if your good at flying. Dont forget to take camera cover off ever time before you turn drone on. Films good at night time just adjust settings in video and photos. Can fly 35 to 40 minutes. Can fly it in very strong wind and it stays perfectly stable! It looks like a mounted camera its so stable. So far only thing I don't like is it says low signal sometimes with only one bar off full signal. Sensors work great to stop drone from hitting anything when turned on. The sun will blind them sometimes if its shining right at them , but only had it happen one time at sunrise video shoot. Can turn drone a degree and it will go in the direction you want or turn off sensors. Buy more batteries and charge station if you like to fly alot.

Have flown the drone for over 800 kms for some amazing footage. And never had any problems with it. Has long battery life which gives it a long range. And has a great camera too.
