It's an amazing tool for composing on DAWs. Solid quality and affordable product

I was worried about product registration as someone reviewed he wasn't able to register. I followed steps as mentioned and able to register and download free softwares and get the product keys for those. Build quality isn't cheap as some YouTubers say. This is really well built. The MPK software is easy to use. There was no built in profile for my StudioOne DAW, but I was able to create one from scratch within 30 minutes. Still exploring other bundled softwares. A big thumbs up to the UK Amazon store for great service.

Control buttons feel nice and are easy to press. Note Repeat function does not work as intended and there's not a consistent distance between each trigger

Tavsiyem öğrenene kadar imkanınız varsa garageband ile kullanın. ( Ayrıca akainin kendi sitesine üye olup seri numarası girince mpc beats gibi programları ücretsiz indiriyorsun. Been wanting a mini synth for years. Never had the spare dosh to purchase one. Along came another birthday and instead of spending it on the usual, purchased something for me. Oh boy so glad I did. Although I've still a lot to learn, each time I have a bit of me time I discover another gem sound or technique on this incredible unit (For the money it absolutely brilliant) The software it comes with is also great - especially like the customisability of synth sounds and been able to tweak them. Before I had purchased this MIDI controller by Akai, I admittingly haven't heard of the brand before. However, the price point of around $100 dollars caught my eye for someone who is constantly on a budget. And I have to say, for everything you receive post-purchase, it's practically the perfect value for your money. This MPK Mini MK3 model, per its name, it's quite smaller than a standard MIDI keyboard, however it's packed with a lot of features like a pitch-shifting joystick, arpeggiator controls, octave and note velocity controls, 8 drum pads, pad controls that includes a "PROG CHANGE" button allowing you to customize the MIDI's functionality based on your DAW as well as a "CC" button that apparently allows you to customize the keybinds of certain buttons using the MPK MINI III Program Editor application, and eight knobs that I personally have little understanding of what they truly do outside of editing the MIDI's settings. The MIDI also comes with a USB Type A to USB Type B connection cable. AKAI also includes cards in the packaging that, upon following the instructions and registering an InMusic Brands account, allows you to register your MIDI and access other software such as MPC Beats (AKAI's producer DAW) and plugins that automatically comes bundled with your purchase. I would definitely recommend watching some guides online when you receive this MIDI because while it's a pretty simple plug-n-play setup, there's so many more features beyond the surface that can be quite complicated to maximize the benefit of. Overall, Akai Professional's MPK Mini MK3 MIDI was a great investment in my musical pursuit for the money, and I would gladfully recommend this product to other up and coming music artists.
