Cool Toner Compatible Toner Cartridge

Great value for the price. Some places sell these for about the same price for 1 as I bought 4. The only complaint is the first one I tried to use had some problems with distributing toner evenly across the page...It had streaks and one side was too light, the other side too dark? I think I may have messed it up when I removed the protective packing from around the drum. The second worked perfectly and I am still using it. The other two have not been opened. So, even if only one of the remaining two work, I think it was a bargain...but I feel confident that they will work fine if I am careful about how I remove the wrappings before I install them.

Great price but it appears you do get what you pay for. Blacks are definitely black with these cartridges but so is the grey spectrum. For use at home these work great and are not expensive. But if you need crisp and clean lines with accurate grey scale, you may want to print at work with someone else's toner and money spent on it... I am very happy with these for home use though. If I were a better planner, a test print with the HP cartridge would have been a good thing to do so I could print the same page with this toner and post pictures with my review. Maybe someone reading this will be more organized then I was and take up the challenge ;-)

In the interest of full disclosure, I'm on the first of the four cartridges, and can't speak to the reliability of all four.I was a little worried with the first one that I got, because for the first 20-30 sheets, it put a thin grey line on the left side of every page. But that cleared up, and now it prints perfectly fine. I would be reasonably happy with the order even if the grey line had stayed, though, because I use it mostly to have battery-independent copies of travel documents & similar things. Even if you need more professional presentation, these might be worth the value-gamble.

I received this product prior to running out of my old supply. When I did run out, I put in my first cartridge which I received from this company and it worked fine for a short period and thing black streaks began to appear on the paper during printing.I tried switching out the cartridge with another unit which I owned and the cartridge from the other printer would fine but their cartridge in the 2nd printer also had black streaks on the paper.I contacted this company and told them what the problem was and they told me to contract Amazon which I did. After a while I received a message from Amazon that this company stated that the cartridges were beyond the 30 days and was not under guarantee anymore.I am not able to get the units replaced and therefore I am using these for draft copies which will be replaced.The problem is that if you wait and order until you are almost out, then find out that there is a problem, you're shut down until replacements can be gotten. Other wise, you face the same dilemma that I have experienced. I would never, ever consider buying anything from this company again for the following reason.When I contacted this company and told them what the problem was, they should have told me then that the guarantee had run out. Instead they referred me back to Amazon who quoted policy. This is terrible customer service and Amazon should get rid of this company.

This is the second 4-pack of these toner cartridges that I've ordered, and I've been very pleased with this product. I produced a 46-page annual journal and a 188-page book during the last three months and made many copies of each one on my little HP laser printer as I tweaked the formatting, artwork, fonts, etc. There was one cartridge that provided a lighter, but still acceptable, text. I couldn't have afforded to do that tweaking if I had been forced to use the HP cartridges. These Cool Toner cartridges did a great job. They came impeccably packaged and work as described.

Work great in my HP laserjet P1102w. HUGE savings. Even if, as HP says, your printer breaks from using these, the money you will save from buying them instead of official cartridges is more than enough to buy a brand new printer. And I've been using these carts for going on 3 years- this is my second round of ordering them (last time I only bought 2 instead of 4) and my printer is still running great, printing almost daily for two students in college (one studying to be a teacher, and myself studying biotechnology, so it gets its fair share of use). Definitely a good buy.

I did not give it a 5 star because it seems to not have as much ink as the factory cartridges. The cartridge seem to empty out quicker than the box store cartridges but not by much. The quality of the print was good, but I felt like I received more copies per cartridge from the factory cartridges. Even if that were the case (guessing 10-20% less prints per cartridge) , these cartridges are still a better deal.

Got these couple of years ago. 2 were fine. I didn't want anything fancy. Just print letters and simple stuff. Was excited about the price but 1 so far is broken. Meaning when I place it in my printer and try to print, the paper gets jammed!!!! When I replace it with another cartridge, it works fine. The issue is that these people have 30 day return policy but how can use all four cartridges in 30 days? No way to know until the time has long gone.I guess you get what you pay for.
