BLINDED BY THE LIGHT...
I love this light! I primarily use it for when I'm walking my dog at night or jogging at night. It comes with a nice little lanyard which is great for ensuring that you don't accidentally drop it. Even if you did, this thing seems very durable. Fenix lights might be made in CHINA but don't you dare let this fool you, they are built like a tank! It runs on one Double A battery which is also a plus. Don't be fooled by this lights size either, this baby is brighter than a mutha!! It also has a GREAT battery life. It's got turbo mode, strobe mode, low mode, medium mode, high mode, and SOS mode. If you are ever walking alone during the night, I reckon this light could be even used as a weapon by blinding your target and running away or following up with a swift crack in the melon with the head of this flashlight (the head has concave-like edges for these tactical purposes, although the Fenix LD20 is better suited for this). One of my favorite aspects about this light though is the clip. The clip is VERY durable and sturdy. One little trick I found on youtube is if you take the clip off and turn it around, it can be secured to a ball cap acting as your own little head lamp! All in all, a great light if you are looking for something small, portable, and BRIGHT. If you want something a little bigger/brighter, get the Fenix LD20. If you something a little bigger/brighter then THAT, get the Fenix TK35.

Good things do come in small packages.
The diameter of this light fits comfortably into my hand. The end cap switch is easy to reach and makes changing brightness reflexive. It glides into my pocket where it is ready for use without being intrusive. Rugged? I use it almost daily in the rain, mud, barn, chicken coop, basement, auto, and in the home. No tool is more durable...except my hammer.

Fenix Lights outshine the competition!
I really have been impressed with Fenix flashlights. They are bright, easy to use and well built. A lot of the time Chinese imports are cheap knockoffs of some other name brand product. That's not the case with Fenix Lights. They are a top quality light that just happens to have originated in China. They're as well built as Surefire and not nearly as costly. I have several of them and have sold off my Surefire lights to buy more of the Fenix lights. I use them as EDC lights, weapon lights, and for use around the house. I bought the LD10 to have a smaller EDC light. The LD10 has six modes that are easy to select. When I'm using it as a weapon light I keep in on turbo so one click gives me blinding light. Then if I just need some light I twist the bezel and one clight gives me the low setting and then I can give a second or third click to adjust the light as needed. The SOS function would be great for signalling in an emergency. The Strobe would really disorient a ner do well. Hard to beat the quality and value of any Fenix light and this one is my new favorite for it's small size and ease of daily carry.P.S. Sorry for the pun in the title but I just couldn't resist!

A dark spot for such a bright company
I have owned MANY different brands and models of flashlights from the ever crap mini mags to the holy crap Nitecore TM11 Tiny Monster 2000 Lumens Triple XML Flashlight Outfit . For a while I was stuck on Fenix, I have several of the Fenix mini LD01 CREE Q5 80 Lumens LED Flashlight - black color, using one AAA battery and the LD05 (a two AAA stylus) and still like them both. This is probably the flashlight that stops me from trying more Fenix lights. In honesty, if it weren't for Marine Veteran's review, I still wouldn't know how to work this unit. Any other Fenix light I have cycles brightness by either rapid off/on or by pushing the switch slightly, there was never any reason for me to think to loosen the bezel to get to a mode to utilize the dimmer function. I also don't like having to loosen the bezel, I want a waterproof flashlight that will not fall apart in my pocket (I don't know that it WILL fall apart or be less waterproof, but daddy always said....).When first trying this new light, I was upset with a dimmer that only went through one cycle, then was only high beam or strobe. So I contacted Fenix (china) and they put me in touch with the US rep. I then paid $10 to ship my flashlight to them to be tested. 13 days later a new light arrived, same problem, contacted rep again and was sent another light with a nice rechargable battery. I still could not get this light to go through more than one dimmer cycle, the odd thing is that I always had the bezel tight, why did it even go through one cycle. Even more odd, why didn't the rep think of the bezel loosening req in our correspondence?Pro'sThis light IS pretty bright on highIt does have a decent strobe functionThe clip does not grab furniture or seat belts like some others doPerfect length for clipped in pocket carry, most 2 battery lights are too longTail cap switch is not easily turned on while in pocketCandle function (can stand on tail cap when on, providing room light) is niceRugged bodyUses a AA batteryCustomer support tried hardCon'sWith bezel tight only allowing high beam, battery life is shortSometimes will not turn on at all, and then turns on later on a shelf or in a pocket, usually toward end of battery lifeOdd dimmer function

New favorite EDC flashlight!
My old edc was the streamlight stylus, takes 1 AAA, small small, and produces a fantastic amount of light. This guy is a bit bulkier, takes one AA, but the tradeoff is, you get a SERIOUS light output improvement, while retaining features from larger lights, such as the strobe, SOS, and optional light output levels. Select the lower output, and this will run for a very long time. Have changed the battery once in 9 months of every day use. Not too bad.The body of this light is a winner, potentially used as a self defense piece, the head is machined aluminum, and very solid throughout. Well worth the price, and impressive technology. With options like this, and the smaller streamlight stylus series, there is never a reason to be without a good light.

Robust and Powerful
This is an unbelievably bright torch for its size and is very well made, making it tactile and something you'll want to carry with you at all times.Running on just one AA battery, it's economical to run.Would recommend to anyone looking for a tough, pocket sized torch for a wide range of uses.

Excellente lampe
