This lamp rocks the house! This floor lamp is just lovely, it makes my room come alive, so glad I ordered this floor lamp, as I feel I have given my living space a complete new look! The price for this lamp is GRAND! The workmanship is great and the vivid colors are just breath taking. This floor lamp is easy to put together, you may want to unpack this lamp outside as it can get a bit messy if you don't. So if your looking for a unique floor lamp at a great price you have found it.

The lamps are beautiful, as long as they are lit. They are NOT glass, no matter what the manufacturer tries to tell you, and are not very attractive when not lit. The fill between the colored pieces is like a plastic/resin material.

As others have said, the lamps from Serena D'italia are sturdy and stable, and beautiful, but (as a reviewer mentioned on another lamp) there is a glare problem that needs to be dealt with. Also, the sockets are kind-of cheap.When I tried to decide among several of the Tiffany-style lamps from Serena D'italia, not all of my questions were answered, so I'm going to try to answer them here. First of all, even though the official photo does not show pull chain switches on this calla lily lamp, this one does have them. Second, while every other part of the lamp feels like quality, the sockets don't. They twist, the chains don't always pull smoothly, and you have to hold the socket while you screw in the bulb. Unfortunately, it seems like ALL lamps are made with cheap sockets these days.Third, the bulbs on all Serena D'italia Tiffany-style lamps are mounted parallel to the floor, at right angles to the lamp pole. Because of this, if you're sitting at a certain level below the lamp, the shades are not long enough to shield your eyes from the bottom of the bulbs, as they should. (What is a shade for, anyway?)I really wanted to keep these lamps so I made a few adjustments to compensate for this. Ikea sells (or used to?) compact fluorescents that are two (medium)-long tubes instead the pigtail/corkscrew type, and that helped a little. You can also turn the lamp so that the bottoms of the bulbs are not quite as noticeable from where you're sitting. Then I took a pair of pliers (and a rag to protect the finish) and bent up the stems that hold the sockets away from the light pole. That helped the most.I uploaded two more photos to better show the shade detail. The colors of this lovely lamp are perfect for blue, green, and cool gray furnishings.

I purchased two of these lamps, one for myself and one as a gift. Both lamps arrived on-time and were easy to assemble. The lamp is well made and looks just beautiful when lit. I contacted the seller about the matching table lamp price of $139 which seemed high, they promptly adjusted the table lamp to $109! I then purchased two of the matching table lamps to complete the ensemble. Great lamp, great price and excellent customer service!

Simply beautiful! Very extravagant! every woman that has came in my house have complimented me big time on this lamp and its sister! I have a 7 year old autistic grandson who turns the lights on as soon as he comes in the door because he loves looking at them! oh, and thats everyday of the week lol people cannot believe the price I paid for them because they were inexpensive compared to a lot of lamps on the market! the lamps themselves are very very sturdy, heavy and well made! Get your muscles onto move it just to dust! lol

They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, whomever they are. However that is not the case with this lamp. The photos of this lamp are not an accurate representation of what the colors in this lamp look like whether it is lighted or not other than the lilies are white.Pros: well packaged, easy to assemble & good value for the priceCons: if the colors in your tiffany-style lamp matter to you and it did to us, the photos in this add are substantially misleading and the seller was impossible to work with on returning the lamp for a refund.I can reasonably see how some buyers could give this lamp a high rating. Nonetheless, when you purchase something that turns out to be different than you expected because you relied on the sellers photos and you’re unable to easily return the item for a full refund, I feel a one-star rating is very fair.

I was really happy with this lamp for just over a year despite the glare issue that others mentioned. I had it on the other end of my couch so glare was no problem. I moved it about a week ago then decided to move it back. Picked it up by the upper part of the pole instead of near the base(the base is heavy as has been noted). It broke, apparently the weight of the base broke the middle part where I'd screwed it together when assembling. Finally was able to fix it-the base weight had pulled a screw assembly out. Sad- an over $100 lamp that breaks with normal usage in just over a year isn't worth it.

Great lamp for the price. It is glass, plastic would not solder. Easy to assemble,you don't even need instructions, which I found after assembly. Packed extremely well. Unpacking hint: leave Styrofoam in box cut the four edges of the tape and lift up. All you need is in the packed compartment (except for the directions which were underneath a bit of cardboard). It is a little shorter than most floor lamps, which for me worked perfectly as I am using it as a reading lamp in a nook. The diameter of the shade is about 16" Why this is undoubtedly well priced is because unlike most Tiffany style lamps I have in my home, the pieces of stained glass are fewer and larger. Base is metal. If it appeals to you, give it a try. Dramatic when lit.
