It is also backed up by a bunch of videos which make learning photography that much easier. Tony has gone the extra mile (or two) on this one so I'm very happy with the purchase.

I have bought many books on Digital Photography, - always searching for the one that would provide the answers that were often missing. After many, many purchases, this one by Tony Northrup, fits the bill. Tony has a way of answering the questions you may ask, in a manner that is different from other authors. Somehow he has a way of explaining things that are more easily understood. He covers Digital Photography in all its aspects, and what is even better is that if you have bought his book, you have literally brought the 'teacher' along with you. How does this happen, well, if you have a cellphone you simply scan the QR code that you will find on several pages of his book, and you will be able to access over 9 hours of linked video tutorials! Just imagine. you have a photographic situation in the field, and you can resort to switching on your phone, and seeing Tony explain the answer on most occasions. If you don't use a cell phone. (and guess what, - I don't, - can't be bothered with them.;o) then you have another alternative, if you have bought the book, and registered it, (free BTW) then an access link is given so that you may view the same video tutorials on your laptop etc. Altogether a Win Win, situation. If I had to give up all but one, of my many photography instruction books, this would be the one I would have to keep

I've been into photography for more than 5 years during which I've followed many YouTubers and watched many tutorials. I can say this book still taught me useful things and helped me be more creative. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoy photography and has an interest in learning how to be better.
