Give it time to work
Worked great on "grass weeds" in my clover food plot. I mixed it at a ratio of 1 oz to one gallon of water with 2 oz of crop oil. Tank mix for all of this was 4 gallons. It is rainfast in about 1-3 hrs depending on humidity. (Middle of NC). This herbicide needs some time to work properly. 7 days after the initial application and all of the grassy stuff looked pretty well intact except for some yellow streaking with purple/burgundy spots and streaks mixed in. 13 days after intital application and everything was just about 100% nuked/ arid brown moonscape looking except the clover! I did have to go back and treat the larger areas of bermuda and the tall fescue tufts. They looked to be on their last leg but I wanted to be sure especially with our potential here in NC for mild falls days. It is a little bit pricey for what it is. But it was a great intro for me to selective herbicides.

This chemical works like magic!!!
I had a very, very aggressive weed taking over my yard. Shredding it twice a month with my string trimmer did NOTHING to stop it.That is when I found this product. I mixed and sprayed it on the supernatural weeds as directed and to my amazement and surprise,....IT KILLED AND ABSOLUTELY ERASED THE WEEDS THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY INDESTRUCTIBLE!!! I still cannot believe the way this absolutely erased my dominant weed problem. Amazing.

Works well on selective grasses
I have found that several species of growth in my food plots that I call "GRASSS" are not reayyl grasses and are not effected by Arrest Max. This works well on what it says it will kill.

No regrets
So, I'm trying to grow a meadow lawn in my front yard to compliment my xeriscaping. The crabgrass and other weeds quickly began choking out my clover, thyme, chamomile, and alyssum. This product is expensive and required measuring and mixing that this suburban housewife found intimidating, but I gave it a go. I mixed this and the recommended crop oil and sprayed my 500 sq ft meadow lawn on 06/21/24. 9 days later there is NOTICEABLE die off of the crabgrass with absolutely no damage to my desirable plants. I was prepared to re-apply after 2 weeks, but I'm not sure that will be necessary. I am VERY pleased with the performance of this product.

It works. But not fully.
I used ArrestMax per the directions, which BTW, are printed in almost microscopic type. I used it on a planter strip in our front yard. It was a dry, sunny day and I really soaked the grass. It did not rain for a few days afterward. Three weeks later, it has destroyed some grass, about half of it, but there are tufts that are still thriving. Bummer.

This stuff really works
Had planted clover and maybe too hot but had bunch of grass and weeds grow. I was skeptical but needed something that would stop grass and let the clover grow. Followed instructions (little goes a long way) using a 1gal manual sprayer and it did great to stop anything but clover.

Effective elimination of grass in food plots.
I used Arrest to eliminate the grasses in one of my clover food plots. It was easy to mix and did a great job of eliminating the grasses that were choking out my clover. Strongly recommend this product and will use it again myself.

Save your money this product does NOT work
Sadly disappointed again by Whitetail Institute. This product is junk. They sell it because of the name period. Didn’t work save your money..Also, I have used the white tail to white clover for the last few years and it has grown, but not grown that well.Took the neighboring Club‘s advice as their food plots of clover looked very, very good and have for years so I went down to the local co-op. Got the local Clover seed at about half the price and my food plot look absolutely great..Maybe a fluke, but Whitetail Institute has not been good for me. And I’m seeing a lot of other people saying the same thing they’re just going on their name.
