Overall a fantastic guitar!
I used to work in a G store and this is what you expect in a junior guitar. The price is great and doesn’t feedback like a cheap guitar. It’s perfect to start off for my eight year old. It’s not a shredding guitar so don’t expect it to be setup for EVH playing. It is fun to noodle around on as an adult too. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed....enjoy!

Great guitar for beginners
The construction is really good for the price and the sound is the classic strat tone.It is a shame the transportation damaged the paint and body

BEWARE SHARP FRETS
This guitar has very sharp frets and if you run your left hand up and down the neck your left hand will start to bleed. BEWARE!

So this was way smaller than we thought.

Would Not Recommend - Poor Quality for a High Price
I don’t even know where to start. I’ve been playing guitar for 7 years, but I haven’t been serious at it until now, so I finally decided to purchase my first electric. I chose Squier because I knew it was a reliable brand that I had used many times before during lessons and performances. I feel so guilty saying that I’m disappointed, because this is something I had anticipated for so long, so I’d rather flat out say I’m utterly crushed. This has to be a joke or a knock-off because the care and quality of this product is absolutely ridiculous. My “brand new” guitar came covered in nicks, scratches, and a layer of dust as if it had been sitting in an attic for a year and no one bothered to clean it off before shipping it out. It almost appears to be a well taken care of used guitar or a refurbished model, but I was promised that it was new. I will admit the body is gorgeous, however the quality of the pick guard is almost entirely too distracting. I have no idea how it plays yet, an honestly that’s the most important part to me, but based off of quality and care alone, I most likely would not recommend.Side Note: I had already started to remove dust in hopes of improving the quality prior to taking the photos.

3/4 scale stratocaster.
I bought this for my young daughter. I found no issues with quality and workmanship. Electronics function with no noise or issues. Would suggest changing strings to a good quality name brand as the set that came with the guitar made my fingers black.

Too many little issues add up fast.
The bad: Fret sprout. Scratchy potentiometers. Intermitent working switch. Screws were not tightened. Loose output jack. Very poor packaging. Action and intonation were far from an enjoyable playing experince. The good: Finish is okay. Neck is straight. Tuners are okay. The size and weight are perfect for a child. The lowdown: It's become quite the common scenario for top name brands to deliver products of any caliber with a less than a satisfying purchase experience. Sadly, I have to fix these issues myself before I can give it to my child as I don't want her to start out with a poor experience. I'm not impressed with this product's quality control.
