Ist schon die zweite Freight Trains, die ich gekauft habe. Die erste habe ich dummerweise verloren. Und ich kann nur sagen, dass Maui Juim einfach jeden Cent wert ist.

I'm a long time Maui Jim customer and today I received a pair of Freight Trains that look have they have been worn out and discolored. Both nose pads and earpieces have obvious white spotting. Even worse, the actual lenses do not have the polarization spread evenly as you can see in my pictures. For the $430 I paid, this is not acceptable.

These Sunglasses are beyond cool! Fancied a Navigator shape with the squared off bottom for a change as opposed to the tear drop Aviator shape and these fitted the bill perfectly.Maui Jim sunglasses are very well made and designed.... this particular model is stamped 'Made in Japan'.They are big glasses so will suit a larger noggin...but they don't look out of place by any means on my other half's head which is considerably smaller than mine. Constructed to a very high standard and made of a type of metal that bends back to shape if you distort it.I have a few pairs of sunglasses and my favourites have usually come from Oakley and Ray-Ban. These are my first Maui Jim pair and they are much better quality build than Oakleys and on a par or slightly better than Ray-Ban I would say. As much as I love some of the Oakley designs, especially for sporting activities there is no doubt about it their construction is often quite plasticky and does not feel that robust.By the way, the seller I purchased them from was a third party seller for Amazon based in Germany called Optik2W and their speed of delivery to the UK and their excellent and swift communication was exemplary. ln summing up I would say if you like the retro look of Aviator frames with a twist, don't mind paying for the privilege of ownership (They are not cheap!) and want some fantastic cool looking sunglasses then look no further.

I bought these more than a year ago, wear them almost every day on the beach or in the city and they still feel and look like new. These are perfect when it is very sunny which is often the case here in Sydney. I have several expensive designer sun glasses but if I could only keep one pair it would be these. They are comfortable and the polarisation is fantastic. Makes Sydney beaches look like Hawaii and helps with the reflection while driving.
