WOOLRICHMen's Artic Parka Df Jacket

Bought the medium, phantom grey parka, delivery was as on time as expected on Prime and packaging was normal Amazon so no complaints.The jacket fits on the small side, I usually go for a small but on the recommendation of the Woolrich website I went up a size and it fits quite well (I’m 5’8’’ 29’’ waist and 36’’ chest). I haven’t bought Woolrich before and was a bit dubious about buying from Amazon but everything looks authentic and the price was 30% less then Woolrich direct.I’ve had the jacket a couple of days and am really pleased with it, the quality is great, understated design which is what I was looking for and feels really warm on. The zippers open 2 ways so you can comfortably sit in the car or at the football and are quite chunky which makes them easy to operate.The outer shell is water and wind resistant and feels good quality with all of the stitching perfectly in place, there are four pockets on the outside, two fleece lined large button down pockets lower down and two fleece lined snap down pockets around the mid section of the jacket. The inner lining has a stitched quilted effect in a gold / tan colour which makes a nice contrast with the outer colour and adds to the quality look. There are also two large pockets in the inside lining where you could store some gloves or larger objects.The hood is quite snug and like the rest of the parka it has a really nice down / feather lining so it feels really warm, I also like that its not too big so you can easily see out and the fur edging doesn’t obstruct your view. If you don’t like the fur then you can also take it off via a concealed zipper.On the fit side there are also adjustments on the waist and around the hood so that you can pull in the fit. It’s worth noting that the zipper only comes up to your throat and there is a Velcro strap with the Woolrich logo to close up the gap around your kneck. The last thing I wanted to mention is the colour, I really like it but its taking me a bit of time to get used to, in sunlight its a dark grey, in lower light it seems to change and looks more like a dark green, either way I think it looks great.Overall I highly recommend the Woolrich Arctic Parka DF.
