I like it a lot this cream. Leave my skin super soft. Also, smells delicious. The hand cream is great, too. Definitely, this is my favorite body and hand cream. Super nice product for a gift, too. And not aminal testing.

This is something that it is HARD to rate. I want to like it, but there are some things that are standing in its way of being a strong 5/5 star product.The idea –> tin with generous tube of hand cream and bottle of body lotion. Seems like a great idea. It isn’t fancy or lovely though, unless you have lower standards. Idea: 4/5Packaging –> I don’t know about everyone else’s tin, the lid on mine kept popping off which made handling it a bit awkward. It wasn’t too stellar. Nothing really that spectacular. I’ve seen cheaper (and sometimes better) at Target and Walmart. Packaging: 3/5Presentation –> The bottle was loose among what looked like shredded, recycled paper. The hand cream tube was in a box. And, one good jostle could dislodge everything. Presentation (Inside): 3/5Product Effectiveness –> I had a tube of this hand cream before (this scent) and it was runny, so I shrugged it off. There’s always a bad batch of something elsewhere, still we give it a try. I had another variety of hand cream and LOVED it.This hand cream? Same old problem. The lotion? Not as good for a body lotion, but works better for the hands. Yes, I have dry hands, they’re not dirt dry. But, the hand cream didn’t really work that well. Even my mom used it (and she can use anything) – she wasn’t a fan either. Product Effectiveness: 3/5Product Fragrance –> This is one I am vacillating on. Some people like a light fragrance, others like a noticeable (as in you smell them when they enter the room over 15ft+ away). This has a light, as in barely noticeable fragrance. I don’t need to be announced, but I’d like SOME scent. Product Fragrance: 3/5Price/Value –> For the price I’m reviewing it at now (around $30) – this just doesn’t grab me. Idea works well; packaging is sub-standard (especially for the price); presentation is definitely NOT worth the price; effectiveness – I have had better (and more product in container) for FAR less; fragrance is EXTREMELY minimal. Price/Value: 2/5Overall: 3/5 stars –> it just didn’t work out. It isn’t something I’d want to receive or even give as a gift.

It looks like it would be a lovely french gift set, and while it's a french gift set I loathe to use the term lovely. The tin arrives looking okay, but dented. And inside the tin you can hear both items just tossing around. When opened, they are packed in a few loose pieces of paper nesting strips, not enough to hold them - and not enough to make it look 'fancy'.But, I can overlook the presentation for product, except in the case of these the product isn't all that great either. This is probably french dollar store type lotions - the hand cream is super thin, very much like the regular lotion, and didn't make my hands feel any more moisturized, just heavily scented. The lotion in the pump was a little better, but still thin and not as effective, except for the lingering floral scent.For the price, there are much nicer lotion sets available.

Both arrived well sealed with no leakage. The body lotion is scented with lavender and angelica and it smells divine. The scent lingers for quite a while so I love applying it just before bedtime. It's a white lotion that absorbs quickly and completely. The hand cream is a bit thinner and the scent is called lavender bouquet. It is not as strongly scented but it still smells lovely and is a nice hand cream - not too thick or greasy.These products are made in the city of Grasse in Provence, France. Grasse is famous for its perfumeries and I have been there and purchased many perfumes. Because France is also known for its lavender fields, lavender is widely used in French products. These smell just like a French lavender field! They are also cruelty free products so you can feel good about purchasing them.The tin they arrive in is beautiful. It has a raised, floral, design on the lid and is suitable for using later to store other items. Like others, mine came slightly dented. I was able to pull the dent out and it's fine but this is an issue if it is intended as a gift so I deducted one star for this. I think different/better shipping packaging is needed. Otherwise, the lotion and cream is wonderful.
