I love pelican products, but this backpack is not worth 1/2 the money. The laptop does not slide in easily there is a gap on the bottom and if you put in your laptop quickly there is a good chance it will get damaged. The ridiculous part is there is only nylon sting for security on the camera part of the case, my camera is worth then my apple laptop, but no way to lock it.. I have traveled to 47 countries, i am always packed heavy, this backpack looks heavy when empty, and is heavy when loaded. IT WILL attract the wrong kind of attention when checking in at airports, they will know it is heavy just by looking at it.. Hence you will either have to check it in (stupid because you can not lock the camera) or pay pay pay for extra weight.. So extremely disappointed..

I’ve had four different camera bags and with all of them attempting to meet all the potential needs of customers and appeal to the broadest amount of photographers, this camera case is the only one I have loved through and through and now only use.The protection of it is better than any other camera bag I’ve had and is quite spacious. I love knowing it has a place for my laptop too. I’m able to fit 3 lenses, my Canon 1DXII camera body, an emergency kit, a hard drive, 3 extra batteries (and just so you know, the 1DXII’s batteries are enormous), the Mavic Drone, it’s Remote Controller and all of the charging cables for my camera batteries and drone batteries… AS WELL AS my laptop… I literally can just pick it all up and go… wether it’s a simple product shoot at the studio, a lifestyle shoot out in the desert or I’m traveling to another country, it’s all there and still fits under the limits of carry on. It’s beauty in a camera case.ONLY CONCERN: There have been some people note that the plastic bars holding the shoulder straps onto the pelican case broke and that DOES worry me a ton… I’ve got over $15k in equipment on my back and the last thing I want is to know I’m turning a corner or swinging it onto my back and the plastic bar breaks, the bag goes flying and smack hard pavement, leaving all of my gear in a heap of a mess. Cross my fingers that doesn’t happen, although I feel it’s kind of a pending event with how heavy it gets and how often I’ve got it suspended on my back.I only have two suggestions; First, that Pelican would provide titanium rods or something that would prevent the shoulder straps from breaking and second would be color options for the interior and velcro inserts. I’d like to have it red, or black, or something different from the blinding yellow they chose.

D4/5/6やZ9などのフラグシップ機や、D750＋バッテリーグリップ装着の場合、立てに収納すると干渉して入らない。蓋が閉じない程ではないが、確実にもりあがる。蓋側にフィルターなどの小物を入れている場合は確実に壊れる。そのため、横に寝かせて収納するから場所がめっちゃ取られる...なんとか入れれば、D5/Nikkor24-70/70-200/200-500は収納可能だった。なぜD5が入らないのか？なぜそのような設計になったのか？疑問だが、バックとしての耐久性は良さそう。流石ペリカン。そして、ラップトップを収納する事は出来るが、ラップトップの充電器を入れる場所がないｗｗすごく期待していたので謎仕様には困惑した。しかし、このバックは機器を安全に持ち運ぶというミッションは確実にクリアしてくれるだろうと思う。もちろん耐水性もOKだ。
