Best Kayak Trailer
This trailer is perfect!! Took a couple hours to assemble but when finished it is very sturdy and safe. Took it on the highway and it did great. We stayed at the suggested speed and it was perfect! A really great purchase!

A nice trailer for the price
I have researched several kayak trailers and decided on this one. Now, you can buy it cheaper from Right On direct but with shipping it was just easier and about the same cost to order here. It came in 3 packages, the around rails were extra and shipped in a separate box. Assembly was simple, everything fit but there were a few bolts missing. So after a trip to the hardware the total assembly time was maybe 3 hours. Spend time packing the hubs and bearings correctly and make sure you check them after the first use. I didn’t use the lights that came with the trailer since they are the most basic (cheap) old school standard bulb assembly’s. I ordered a LED kit from here for $30 and it was worth it. I also added a tongue handle to help move it around easier. I have to say this thing is narrow, in most mid - full standard trucks you will have no idea it’s back there so I may add markers to the back corners. But I like it and it will work fine for the money.

Its a good little trailer!!!
I'm happy with my trailer. It's perfect for my Jackson big rig. The only thing I added to it was some pool noodles on the cross bar. I drilled out a 1" hole in the pool noodle lined up with the part that attaches to the frame then I cut a straight line the whole length of the pool noodles so I could slip it right over the bar. Then I zip died it down. The wiring was not bad at all. Get a small bolt and tie a string on then stick it through the hole and let gravity do the work. Then tape the string and wire together and pull it through. On the other part use a tape measure. Run it from the back to the front. Separate the wire making a hole that you can put the tape measure through (or tape the wire to the T M) then pull the tape measure through. Ok... now the bad. I hated how they had the picture for the step you are working on or page and the actual directions on the next page. It is like that throughout the whole process. The next thing I hated was I went to put the cross bars on last and I had to take bolts out to put them on. I could have done that during that step and saved time. Finally... some of the pieces had some rust on them but not bad enough that I felt like returning it.

You only get the trailer. The other pictures are options.
You will not get any bike rack supports. You only get the trailer.I had a Yakamah roof rack on our wagon and was able to adapt the roller ramp and kayak saddles to this trailer. The bike racks will soon be on order.Took me about 6 hours to build the trailer. My wife and I were able to lift it and turn it over for the final steps; lights, fenders, hitch. No more pushing onto the wagon roof!

It is a sturdy and solid trailer. Worth it.
Takes longer to put together then what is stated in paperwork, but duoable. The certificate and bill of sale does not come with product, although it states that it does. It is mailed to you.Driving is smooth when towing with 2 kayaks. Per husband feels it is well engineered!Have had compliments on how it looks.

Not Made in The USA
Note: This trailer is not made by Right-On Trailer company, it is badged as Right-On but the make is actually Long Chih Industrial Co. of Taiwan. My trailer arrived without the crossbars and boom/tongue connectors. One 4" bolt was also missing. The seller contacted Mike at Right-On Trailer Company who promptly shipped out the missing pieces. After putting the trailer together, here's what I think: You get what you pay for. Most painted parts (booms, tongue, fenders and boom/tongue connectors) will arrive scuffed up. My fenders are going to be repainted. Also, the wiring/wiring access holes on the tongue and booms are drilled through so aggressively that large burrs are created on the inside of the tubing at each hole location. This will become evident when you begin wiring the trailer. Lots of rework is needed should you not want your wire casings to be razed by the sharp burrs within the tubing.Another complaint is that that stud patterns on the hubs are not concentric with the center bores for the axle. It is visible with the naked eye when you pick up the rear of the trailer and manually give the tires a spin with your hand. I have not loaded the trailer and had it on the road yet, but I will be keeping an eagle eye on it as it does not inspire a ton of confidence at the moment. In hindsight, I wish I had spent the extra money and went with a Malone Microsport Trailer.

(I recommend youtubing that part)
This took me an entire day to put together and the directions for the wiring is not very specific. (I recommend youtubing that part). It's not the best quality since it's already started rusting but that's fixable and it gets the job done. I plan on using this for my two kayaks this summer!
