Sportdogfood Maintenance Dog Food, Chicken Formula, 30-Pound

I have two working breed dogs, neither of which work and both are high maintenance/ picky. My hound is older with low energy and activity levels. My catahoula is young and active. I've tried numerous high quality brands of dog foods over the last couple of years; and if one dog would tolerate it, the other would rather starve than go near the bowl. To top it off, both dogs began to have skin issues. I happened to see someone post about this brand while researching the next new dog food. On a whim, I contacted the company via their website; and within a matter of minutes, I received a call. Not only did they call, the owner took the time to go over ingredients, my dogs' issues, the best formula for them, etc. Based on their recommendation, I bought the White Fish Maintenance Formula and gradually introduced it to my dogs over a two week period. Could they have been introduced more quickly? Probably, but I am glad that I did a slow introduction because their were no issues whatsoever during the transition phase. They are now eating the food even without additional toppings (which is a first). I am on my 2nd bag (one 30 lb, the other 50 lb since beginning of January) and will be ordering another 50 lb bag of White Fish Maintenance formula this week.

I have an 80 pound doberman and I'm happy with the food. It's rated well on dog food advisor and I think the price is great considering the quality of the food. The transition from her old food to this food was easy. No digestion issues and I personally have not experienced the crumbling issues that other customers have. As soon as I get her food, I pour the food out of the original package and keep it in an airtight container (so I don't know if that has anything to do with helping the food not to crumble? just a theory)

Found this food while looking for a lower protein food with good ingredients for our 1 dog. He just finished transitioning to it & so far his stools have been great, nice & small, as well as we havent noticed any gas. Our dogs are sport dogs so quality feed is beneficial in helping them stay in shape to compete in any of the venues we choose. I also appreciate that subscribe & save is now an option, save some $ & I dont have to run to the store to grab food. win, win.

I was VERY EXCITED to find a food without peas (cheap protein filler) or eggs (by product) because my big dog is very allergic to both of these (as well as other things). Unfortunately, he isn't crazy about it. Even "doctoring" it with chicken didn't really make him want to eat. Thanks for making a good high quality food!ps just wish it came in smaller bags, has good packaging for freshness but could use a zipper seal

Amazing company and Amazing owners, I highly recommend this dog food as my pack loves it. I have 6 dogs all 50+ Lbs and they love this, I highly recommend this dog food and I highly recommend you give it a chance, I really don't understand the negative reviews but I ensure you this will be a great purchase.

Great food! No peas, no flax seed! Fantastic is you're worried about Phyto estrogens in your dog's food, like I am. It's a highly bio available food. DogFoodAdvisor rates it with 5 stars. My dogs love it. I feed this to my two girls with nursing litters and the pups are gaining weight like gangbusters, have shiny puppy coats, and are vigorous. The food quality is fantastic and the price simply can't be beat.

I have been ordering the beef version but my dog started to eat less of it come feeding time. Switched to the chicken and she won't touch it until she is hungry enough to eat anything. Going to try another flavor as I like the ingredients this brand uses. Hopefully she will eat that, she use to crush a bowl of the beef flavor.

The healthiest choice! Our 3 dogs of different breed, size, age and health have all benefitted from exclusively eating this food. All of them are now in their desired weight range and love dinner time, even the picky eater.
