Asterom Handmade Leather Cane Strap - Stylish Wrist Strap for Canes and Walking Sticks

If you have smaller hands, you'll likely love this strap. Very nicely made, real leather, and seems to be pretty durable. Trying to grip the cane with the strap around my wrist is a very tight fit for my large hands, and is actually pretty awkward. It's still on my cane, but mostly for decoration as it's intended customer is more likely a smaller framed person, or a petite woman. If this is you, it's a beautiful and helpful accessory. UPDATE - The owner of Asterom, Alex, reached out to me after this review and offered to make a custom strap for my rather large hands. It arrived today, and is beautiful and fits perfectly! I'm very pleased with this Asterom Handmade Leather Cane Strap: Stylish Wrist Strap for Canes and Walking Sticks (Black). The strap is well made with soft leather, chrome hardware and a velcro wrap closure that tightly secures the strap also the wrist strap itself is generous and roomy. I bought this for my new Cold Steel Walkabout Walking Stick which is thicker then a regular cane and it fits very nicely as you can see in the photos. I highly recommend this excellent Asterom Leather Cane Strap for your cane or walking stick you'll be glad that you did. Thank you.

Soft leather. Nice color. the velcro itself, does not keep a strong, secure hold and comes loose on it's own. I really do not recommend this product. UPDATE: Asterom Customer Service reached out to me on their own initiative and are sending me a replacement strap. This is greatly appreciated and welcome. I will have to rate their customer service as being excellent as well as prompt and immediate. I will also like to add that I PURCHASED ONE OF THEIR CANES 3 or 4 years ago. I highly recommend them. The cane is super light weight, super strong, and very comfortable to hold. Really, the ergonomics of the derby-ish style handle is amazing. I use it every day.

The craftsmanship of my cane is fantastic! The leather cane strap was easy to put on and is well crafted. With me being in to photography I need my hands to be free to shoot photos. The leather strap works perfect for me because with it around my wrist I can just let go of the cane and take my photos. If you need a cane this is the company to. buy from!

Exactly what we needed. Stays in place! Fine craftsmanship. Worth the price.

So many cane straps out there rely on an elastic loop, which just doesn't have the strength like this leather & velcro strap. Plus the real leather and large loop strap make it comfortable to either have it wrapped on your wrist while using the cane, or holding the strap with the handle, or just letting it hang. Even with the strap secure around your cane, it's easy to rotate it as needed so the strap hangs from either the left or the right of the handle. I purchased both a black one and a brown one. My one and only complaint is that the brown is so dark, at first I thought I received two black ones. It is brown, though, just a very dark brown.

I , at first, ordered the cane and it is stunning. Beautifully handcrafted and well made. I needed the hand strap as I quickly realized in having the cane I lost a free hand. It’s leather and well worked. Perfect for the cane. I highly recommend this seller. I didn’t want to give in to needing a cane so it took me a long time to find the perfect one and I did. Would not hesitate in getting another or any of their products and I am highly recommending it to others.

Many cane straps are elastic which eventually becomes saggy or snaps. This is strong Leather which fits both walking sticks and crutches. Well worth the price if you use either on a daily basis.
