Harry Potter Deluxe Wooden Board Game: Potions Challenge - 2-4 Players, Ages 8+

So my game came with a nice amount of paint peeling off of the wood. It sucks because I purposely paid more money for the wooden version of this game because of the looks of the game. What really sucks is that they have nothing to return it with. We didn't even get to try the game yet because I have been working all week trying to find a replacement.

I was so excited to see this game,, my 11 year old son is obsessed with HP and gotnrrally into potions amd spells,, etc....Good concept, but the secret decoder is near impossible to use, kids lost interest quickly because of it.

It was to hard to see the potion ingredients. An expensive paper weight

Fun game, unique idea. Extremely difficult to see the ingredients with the wands. We had to google it to figure out the trick. You have to lay it flat on the board and hold it down and slowly rotate it. Needs the perfect lighting. We had to use our cell phone lights even in we’ll lit room. Difficult to choose which area you see first. We switched some of the rules to be able to use more of the cards and allowed players to swap out their hand or particular cards when hey landed on choose a card spaces. This also adds a bit of strategy to the game.
