Works excellent on Linux Mint and Windows 10
Easiest install on Linux mint, just install and boot but on Windows 10, you just need to either download the drivers or just connect to the internet via Ethernet cable and Windows downloads the drivers by itself and just works. Getting 800 meg download rates on gigabit Fios service more than 2/3rds of wire. Nice.

Ideal Replacement for my old 3160
The original card was really slow and dying. The new card is very fast and works great.

Great upgrade for Dell Inspiron 5559
Original 3160 AC Wifi Card useless for network use (read slow). New card is so much faster. Highly recommend this upgrade.

Rock Solid replacement
About 6 months ago, I purchased an Alienware 17R5, their latest gaming rig, which came OEM sporting a Killer 1550 WiFi/bluetooth card. These are plagued with dropouts and other issues, so I purchased this Intel 9260. Pay attention to your CPU, as there are vPro and no-vPro versions. That does matter. Since replacing the OEM card with this one? Rock solid WiFi-- zero drop outs, no lost DNS, just worked all day long. Before? I would experience 5-7 drop-outs requiring either a reboot or a reset of the card. It is such a relief to be rid of all that annoyance.Replacement was fairly easy, as Alienware build these with fairly easy access to replaceable hardware. The old WiFi card was held with a tiny screw and a plastic gizmo, and was underneath a conductive signal shield (flexible graphite-impregnated plastic). There were also a pair of very delicate antenna "snaps" in the upper-right of the card. The screw is easy enough to get out, and the card, like all M.2 cards, simply lifts up-- you have to take care to not break the antenna wires though. Carefully pop those up-- *straight* up, or you will mangle the base sockets on the card. Set the old card aside, then re-attach the wires to the new one, as they were on the original card. A very gentle press will snap them into place. Return the card to the slot-- it will have zero resistance, and tend to sit up a bit. Before putting the screw in, you need to replace the plastic gizmo on the card (there is a little tab that has to go below the card) --it seems to be there to help keep the delicate antenna wires in place. Press gently on the plastic gizmo, and everything lines up to allow the screw in. No need to over-tighten, as Alienware has some blue thread locking compound on the screw, which hold it from vibration. Boot up, let Windows find the new card, and Presto-Chango-- WiFi access. In fact, it was so fast I didn't see it at first. I did go into Device Manager, to force the latest Intel drivers in, as is typical, Windows Update was a couple of versions out of date.

As described, a great upgrade over the 7265 that was in my laptop.
As the title says, came as described, looked brand new and easy installation in a HP Spectre X360 (2015) 13-4120CA. This is a great upgrade from the 7265 that came in it for those with proper AC Routers and faster internet connections (300 mbps+) and as a bonus the drivers for bluetooth and wireless appear stable. I would suggest that you remove all connections for the previous bluetooth card (reset bluetooth) before replacing the card as it will cause issues with duplicate devices.
