Not as powerful, but it gets the job done. Had to adjust the blades so they can outline closer (as well as shave). Awesome product.

I literally just finished using these to shave my head, and have been using them for about 5 days so far. Extremely underpowered, difficult to adjust.I also had these a long time ago in US voltage, looking for an alternative to my Andis clippers. My andis clippers worked so well, that I forgot there were other alternatives out there. So I started looking to see if other brands would compare. Andis is the best hands down, and now I am remembering why I threw the Osters out the previous time I had them.First, the teeth in andis clippers seem to be smaller than those in other clippers, which allows for a closer cut, without blade over lap (if you know what I mean - when you adjust the moving blade so close against the guard that it knicks your skin and gives you that burning sensation like your skin is on fire for the rest of the day - all in pursuit of that closest of close haircut). I now have razor bumps littered on the back of my neck, and even face, which rarely happened with my andis clippers.Second, for whatever reason, these blades seem underpowered. I am in India and they have been awful at 220v. They have not cut close at all, and if you adjust them to cut closer, they will give you a burning sensation - there is no middle ground.If only andis made a 220v clipper. You cannot use a converter with andis clippers.

This is just what I needed for my deployment! All of my trimmers/clippers were your standard 120v appliance that only work in the US. Where I'm at you need appliances that are 220v 50Hz. Now I am able to cut my own hair and shave. Since I am my own personal barber, these were a life-saver!

I bought this product so that I can cut my hair when travelling outside of the U.S. It worked great no problems at all.

I purchased these clippers expecting to get a good pair, Im overseas and need something for the facial hair and for trimming. WELLL THIS IS NOT THE ONE!!!!! I tried to use it twice, once because it was the first time I had the chance since I got here. And the second time because i thought maybe it was the user and not the equipment so i tried at a different location. But these trimmers couldnt cut any hair even if it had NAIR to help it. The blade is horrible, not sharp at all. the power was weak but maybe with a sharper blade may have helped a little bit. SO trust me if you are overseas and need a pair of trimmers try something else because TRUST ME THIS IS NOT THE ONE YOU WANT!!!! I'M not trying to promote other clippers or anything Im just trying to keep buyers from making the same mistake I did. Maybe they work off of 230 VOLTS Power like the title says and 220 is not enough but for 220, I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY BUYING THESE....GARBAGE

Need this while i was over sea's and it is the perfect tool. Very sharp and not loud at all... Its easy to clean and easy to adjust. easy to fit in you hand and with the long blade, shaving is a snap.

Very, very disappointed with this product...first the item was used and dirty, second not as advertised; item was missing components to include the cleaning brush, oil and combs! I truly think this item was a returned product that was not verified and re-shipped...not a very happy/satisfied customer!

Ordering from Canada so not a polarized plug but I can use an adapter..plus I just want to say that these are meant for professionals and there are so many non professionals buying them up and giving poor ratings. The professionals know what they are capable of and know their tools for sound ,adjustment, etc. Although I havent used them yet ..I just got today.. I know they will last for years and years.
