This is a pretty nice design ipad case. I needed something to protect my old iPad and this works great. One thing I really like about it is that you can remove the magnetic cover and just have the case alone which is great for when I am reading on the iPad. The cover is easy to remove just push down and slide it out. Do not try to pull it off from the bottom as the hinge is just made of plastic and you will break it. The cover is a magnetic cover so it will be secure as well as turn your ipad screen off when closed. Another thing I will say about it is that the cover came a bit damaged as the packaging just a thin plastic bag. It got small impression or dents on the case so be aware that may occur for your case. I figure maybe a few days and it may go away but it did not. The case itself is made of silicone plastic. The material is prone to sun damage so it can get gloomy or foggy after some time. The weakest points are the thin material near the switches. They are flexible so be careful as they can retain an odd shape if held in an awkward position for too long. That being said when you happen to put the ipad in for the first time make sure that you you have the edges and corners hugging the ipad completely to ensure that you do not warp the edges which is really hard to fix after that. The case is protective as the material is pretty thick and will keep scratches at bay. The ipad case can be stood up so you can easily watch stuff on the ipad if needed. The stand does hold up very well and actually only takes one try to really stand up. One thing I will say is that the case cannot be adjusted via angle it is being held. It also gets a bit foggy and gloomy in the material overtime if you leave it in direct sunlight. Overall I think this case is pretty good although it just arrived damaged and requires better packaging.

In my experience, most people get an iPad mini because they like how small it is. Before changing to this case I simply had a smart screen cover which is basically the opposite of this case meaning that it was super slim. On the other hand, this case is very bulky but you will never worry about breaking your iPad Mini! The design is okay and the screen cover is still magnetic and folds up to become a stand which is good. If you are looking for a durable case this is it. I would prefer a less bulky case but it does seem well built and I know it will protect my iPad well. The pros to this case in particular are that the design is still good and all the buttons are still easy to press. Many times with the more bulky cases, the buttons become harder to access but this is not the case with this case. I think it is a pretty good value for the money and it was pretty easy to install as well. You simply have to push it in and make sure it’s completely in in all four corners. This has been a great case for what my wife and I needed. We have an older iPad that we use, and we needed something sturdy that our 1 year old wouldn’t break easily.I’m his case looks really great, it doesn’t feel or look cheap and it’s perfectly made for the iPad. I definitely recommend buying it.

So this case & cover fit great. Appears to protect well and the back cover is 'grippy' so it won't slide out of your hands like many others.However, the one annoying bit is that if you flip the front cover back, it puts the iPad back to sleep. It's like the magnet in the cover is too powerful, or not shielded on one side and the iPad thinks you're putting the cover back over the front again. If you fold the cover first then fold it over the back it's OK.Otherwise, for the price this is pretty good. It replaced my aging keyboard cover I had been using for years and provides great protection. You can also simply slip the front cover off if desired, or use it as a low-profile stand.

I'm using this case on an iPad Mini 3. It has one somewhat major drawback - the magnet in the cover is too strong and when the cover is folded over, it causes the tablet to go to sleep. Again, since I'm using the case with an iPad Mini 3, I cannot speak about other models this case is suitable for. The magnet problem may not be the case for those models. Other than the magnet problem, the case is sturdy and is of high quality. I've been using a number of similar cases made of rigid plastic and they eventually tend to crack on corners, even without any abuse. The body of this case is made of hard silicon (vs. rigid plastic), which is flexible yet sturdy, so it is not prone to cracks. In addition, corners of the case body are reinforced with extra material. I have already managed to drop the tablet in this case from about 2-3 ft. and it held up well. If not the magnet problem, I would deem the case close to perfect.

When we invest significant funds in acquiring our tech toys, we want to ensure they will last and be able to withstand the occasional slings and arrows life throws at them. I paired this case with a tempered glass screen protector, and when I accidentally dropped my iPad on a tile floor, I was sure there would be significant damage. When I turned the iPad back on, the first thing I noticed was that the screen had hundreds of cracks - all of them, fortunately, only on the tempered glass screen protector - underneath, the iPad screen was intact. The Valkit case sustained a slight ding on one of the corners, but because the four corners of this particular case are reinforced and thicker, the iPad inside was protected and emerged unscathed. I purchased the clear model - this will permit me to put a personalized decal on the back of my iPad if I wish. I highly recommend this case - it offers superior protection. It fits snugly around the iPad, but still allows one to add an additional screen protector. The screen cover that is attached to the case turns the iPad off when closed, thus saving battery life.

This case is good quality for the value and it's designed with a removable cover which is convenient. I only wish the light grey cover sat more flush against the screen when closed since it seems to have a slight raise in the middle at rest likely due to the material so this may not be the case with the other colours. Overall still happy with this purchase!

Smart Cover is junk. It will lock and unlock your iPad even when it is in the open position. Clearly a defect in the magnet placement. The back cover is very durable and as stated, impact resistant.

Not a bad tablet case, seems fairly sturdy. The corners are thicker/reinforced

The fold to make it stand is not too good, but it will stand you you fold it tightly. As other buyers mentioned, when the case cover flipped to the back it will turn the iPad off, this appears to be a magnet issue being too strong on the upper right corner, as I need a case I won't be returning it instead put a little bit of foam on the upper right corner so the case cover does not completely touch the back of the iPad. This workaround is working fine.
